- From $145.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 523 reviewsWhat a nice surprise!! We had never visited this part of France and selected this hotel based on the reviews. The rooms look quite small on the website so I was a bit concerned. We stayed in the family room with a sea view (the view is not pictured on the website as far as I can tell). The view was AWESOME. The lobby, restaurant, and congregating areas were spotless and the views were amazing. There were games to play with and a light, airy vibe. One night we played Scrabble and just enjoyed the view and never felt pressured to order from the restaurant or bar (we did anyway!). The hotel is a short walk down to the beach/town strip and a downtown area for shopping. The Tapas menu was also very plentiful and very good.Guest review byNancyUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,019 reviewsWe have been coming to this hotel on the island of Bréhat for 40 years. It has been under several owners. The newest owners have completely renovated all of the rooms and it is delightful. Be sure to request a room with a balcony so you can watch the tide come in and out of the port. Also, we suggest you eat dinner and breakfast here. Both meals were extraordinarily good. Our compliments to the chef.Guest review byYvesUnited States

We loved Dinan, so many lovely shops and restaurants as well...
We loved Dinan, so many lovely shops and restaurants as well as all the historic sights. We managed to park for free behind the castle, from the market square you go past the castle and take the first turning under a stone arch on the right, there are parking spaces on the left side of the street and a free car park on the right. A good time to find spaces was between 6-7pm. The town itself was great and we really enjoyed just wondering around looking at the shops and stopping at various cafes. Our favourite restaurant was Neo where they did a 3 course set menu for around 30 euros, I would call it fine dining and well worth a try, we ate there twice. There was a great Moroccan restaurant too, in fact we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. We couldn't go into any historical places as our dog was not allowed and beware they are not allowed on the free busses either. We found out the hard way by walking down to the port hoping to get a bus back, its a steep clime. The duration of our break in Dinan was 1 week and there was plenty to do, we would really recommend it.Guest review byDebbie SmallUnited Kingdom - 10

Saw puffins and gannets on very reasonably price boat trip to Sept Iles. Lovely walking around the port in the evening, especially if you are impressed with the dramatic daily tidal differences. Ty Breizh has an excellent menu and excellent service. Short drive to wonderful Monday market in Trestagol.Guest review byByrd - 10
Saint Brieuc is a lovely town in this part of Brittany.
Saint Brieuc is a lovely town in this part of Brittany. It's big enough to have a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Hotels too. Yet, it's small enough you can get out of it into the lovely Breton countryside easily enough. Not overtly touristic, but there are plenty of nice places around to visit and cycle to. A walk down to Le Legue through the Parc de la Vallée de Gouédic was a lovely start to the day. Within a short drive you can get to Binic and Paimpol, or the other direction to the magnificent beaches at Val Andre.Guest review byRobbo83France - 8.0

Lannion is a lovely town with the old town mainly on a hillside. We parked down by the river and the Tourist information who gave us a tour map. They also sold us a 'blue badge, for the parking (2 euros) which you use for your parking time. This badge can be used in blue parking areas throughout France. We spent seveal hours wandering around and had lunch in townGuest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10

A friendly town, marvellous local produce, excellent market on Thursday and dining was excellent . An easy relaxing picturesque location. My third visit for the Dartmouth Paimpol Cross Channel Regatta . The marina staff are exceptional and the Hotel Goelo was a good choice to relax in after busy days and long late dinners. Recommend L'Escale , Terre Nuevos and Le Criee to eat at - the standard of service at each was superb and the food delicious.Guest review byLorraineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
The staff were friendly and bilingual. The site was quiet.
The staff were friendly and bilingual. The site was quiet. It is well positioned for walks along the headland plus excursions into the city to the south and to the beaches and villages to the north. Some of the rooms including ours were in separate blocks, Thankfully there was no rain or high wind when we stayed there. The bedroom was small and cramped and not what one would expect of a four-star hotel. There was only one chair for two people. Limited coffee facility One Cup one small cup no refills of coffee or cream. The safe was small and difficult to access on the floor. What we thought was a fridge / mini bar was in fact a fuse cupboard. There was advertised a swimming pool and spa, yet this small feature was not part of the price as hotel guests had to pay extra. The restaurant did not have reserved places for hotel guests and appeared to be fully booked on the Saturday.Guest review byColyer - 10

Great town to visit for a day. Beautiful old streets. Some very nice shops and galleries. Somewhat touristy on a Sunday afternoon, but not overwhelming (nothing like St. Malo, and very few English speakers!). Great dinner at L'entre Nous!Guest review byStevenUnited States - 10

We approached from the south and we for a lovely walk along the beach at Bout des Ville then for drink and dinner down by the yacht haven under the big N12 road bridge. We loved it and will use it as a stop off point, en route to Roscoff again.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10
We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area,...
We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area, both coastal & inland, but in full season it could be very difficult to get around & park. There are plenty of shops & restaurants but we only ate home-cooked food. The ruined Abbey de Beauport is well worth a visit, with lovely coastal walking areas in and around the grounds. It also had excellent parking & a cafe. We would recommend a stay in Paimpol but not in the full holiday season.Guest review byKeithFrance
