Much better than queueing to check in. The location was fantastic, close to all the lifts and the convenience of the supermarket nearby. The layout of the apartment was excellent - given that we know you need to fit a lot into a small space, the bunks in a separate room meant our son had a bit of his own space. There was plenty of hot water and the shower worked well. And the sofa beds were really comfortable and easy to make - up / put away. It’s one of the premiere ski resorts for a reason. Huge ski area, that never disappoints. We have skied Val for over 16yrs, and always find ourselves coming back. A few of the livelier places in town have disappeared over the last few years so it’s not quite the Apres ski town it used to be. But as we are getting older we don’t miss them as our days of being out all night are behind us. I was there for skiing only so that is all I can talk about. And it was just perfect. The slopes, ski lifts, nature - everything is outstanding. Highlight of our trip was daily tour across the Val d'Isere/Tignes resort using ski lifts and blue slopes. Skiing through the woods or on top of the peeks is an unforgettable experience.
