Apartment was right next to the slopes and chairlift, supermarket and deli just around the corner. Bed was very comfortable, pleasantly surprised to find the apartment had 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, which was great to soak in after a long day skiing

    La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village. I visited with my girlfriend, so I didn't go looking for too many Après-Skis. Everything is relatively close and there are some good restaurants. Some of the ski lifts could have been more up-to-date, but nothing negative.

    Such a great little village to stay in above Bourg Sainte Maurice. You can access a local boulangarie to buy the most incredible breads, pastries and selection of savoury snacks. Excellent location to Sainte Foy as well as Les Arcs, Tignes and Val D'Isere

    La Rosiere is a ski resort high up the Petit St Bernard pass above Bourg St Maurice. La Rosiere is a large chalet-style modern building near the top end of the main street. Parking just across the road. Step-free access to a lift for those with heavy bags with wheels. Room was very comfortable, with toilet and shower.

    Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas.

    Lovely French village split into two easily walkable areas. We stayed in Les Eucherts which is fab. Plenty of ski shops for rental choice. 10 mins walk to La Rosiere main area. Very pretty resort generally with incredible views. Highly recommend it for a range of ski abilities. Mostly blue and reds wide slopes. Not too busy at any time during week. Skiing in to Italy is easy and different and there’s a WW2 fort! Approx 3 hour transfer from Geneva Overall highly recommend this friendly stunning under rated French resort, easy to get around. Ski into Italy

    La Thuile is a quiet resort with a decent number of good...

    La Thuile is a quiet resort with a decent number of good restaurants and nice shops selling local produce. The ski area is fantastic and the fact that you can ski into La Rosiere and it's ski area is brilliant. Although we didn't take advantage of it, the general Aosta valley areas are linked up and you can use a six day ski pass in specified other ski areas in the valley for two of those days, so there's a lot of variety. I'm also told that your ski pass gets you on to the ski bus services, and the Mont Blanc Skyway cable car (though I believe the cable car uses both of your 'non LaThuile' day passes - but it's a huge saving. It's super easy to get to by car from Turin, the atmosphere in the village is nice, the mountain bars and restaurants are good and reasonably priced. I'd go back again for sure.

    If you take a skilift on top, you can take the best picture...

    If you take a skilift on top, you can take the best picture of Monblan, which looks really near! I've never seen it better. Otherwise, excellent ski slopes for all levels, really enjoyed our stay.
