The location is amazing. Beautiful pool and great access to the water (great for snorkeling). The breakfast was also good. Special thanks goes to the staff. Our car broke down on the day we were supposed to leave and they helped us (before the assistance arrived). We would highly recommend staying here.

    Very pretty village, with a really interesting history.

    Very pretty village, with a really interesting history. Quirky and lots of flowers. Narrow and steep streets, very little signage, hard to navigate with a car. Parking is a problem. Restaurants are adequate, but nothing special. One supermarket (thank god!), but no fish! One baker. One pharmacy. Everything was overpriced. Had the feeling they were reliant on tourists in the summer months, and resented it. Not as friendly as the South of France where everyone responds to your 'Bonjour' when you enter a shop.

    We rented 2 nights on the ground floor.

    We rented 2 nights on the ground floor. The windows of the room were facing the alleys of the hotel, and the locks were broken. Hence we could not close the room. The reception did not have any other solution than proposing another room on the 2nd floor with the same problem, or playing around with the shutters to lock the room. Quiet a disappointment.

    Place close to Sagone was very nice, quiet, empty sandy beach (public). Accomodation - 768 Euro per 2 persons / 9 nights. When there was no chance to cancel it, we got a SMS from accommodation with a request for additional payment for bed linen - 28 € and cleaning the room 60 € after our stay. After our arrival the bed linen was not ironed, there was only one mini bar of soap, no shampoo, only one not complete toilet paper, remote control for air condition with dead batteries, small lamp without any batteries, completely destroyed mosquito net on window. This additional request for money after payment in booking.com has never happen to us before. I believe that booking.com will give an explanation to this strange procedure for additional payment.

    Charming with a small port.

    Charming with a small port. Quite a few steep alleys to walk. The port is quite a walk from the centre actually. The centre itself does not seem very unique or surprising, though it has a few charming shops like a boutique with coral. Walking paths lead out the village to rocky paths leading to stunning viewpoints or beach.
