The house was absolutely gorgeous. It was newly renovated and very clean. Everything was spot on and had everything you need for a home stay. My family and I were travelling back to UK after a holiday break from French Riviera, and this little gem just outside Macon was a real treat. The owner was very friendly and explained everything in detail for our arrival and our departure process and all went smoothly.

Marie from reception is very friendly, welcoming and provided me with helpful information before and upon arrival. The site is next to the river which makes it extra special, very green and perfect for pets. All the facilities are as you can expect from a good campground. For those travelling with a walker/ reduced mobility: I traveled with my dog and my elderly parents, one with impaired mobility who uses a walker. We rented a chalet, after getting up 3 small steps the inside is cosy but accessible with the walker and the shower easy to get into. The toilet is separate and small and narrow, not accessible with a walker, but still fine for someone who can stand and take a few steps. I would book this accommodation again.

Great room, completely renovated, enough light points, enough charging points, television. There is a desk, hangers to hang your coat and other clothes, nice bed. Very nice spacious, clean bathroom and nice thick towels. The room is very well isolated against noice. I arrived after closing time (after 8 pm) and the access system worked easily and flawlessly. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, so it doesn't feel isolated. In the morning the staff was very friendly and the breakfast (wich I didn't take) smelled wonderfull. The hotel is well positioned near the highway, but still far enough not bothered by it

This is a gem of a boutique hotel. It's tastefully and quirkily decorated, very comfy beds and pillows, and a beautifully warm bathroom. The restaurant gets very busy, so essential to book, plenty of menu choices and a vast wine list and the food is delicious, I imagine one could put on a few kilos if you stayed longer than we did! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us, after a minor communication breakdown meant our table reservation was not on the list, we were quickly housed in the hotel cave (wine shop) on the first floor, truly a private dining experience! Breakfast is fresh croissants, self-serve for boiled eggs and everything else. High quality tea (Frères Dammann) and great coffee. Really close to the Roche de Solutre, about an hour and a half for the round walk. Highly recommend this lovely place!
