- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 268 reviewsGreat location with a huge room. Very clean and more modern than other hotels in Pralong. Breakfast was limited to cook your own eggs and pancakes with some continental options. I would have expected more cooked options but overall a nice and comfortable stay.Guest review byRosieUnited Kingdom

I went to Termignon on recommendation of a hiking guidebook.
I went to Termignon on recommendation of a hiking guidebook. It's a very good base for exploring the Maurienne valley as it's roughly situated at the midpoint. Lanslebourg (up the valley), and Aussois & Modane (down the valley) have more amenities than Termignon, but it has the essentials. Moreover, it's easy to get to the others by bus or car. There are numerous trails to hike or mountain bike. There are also several via ferratas in the valley, from easy (F) to extremely difficult (ED), many concentrated at Fort Victor Emmanuel. Besides the valley itself, there's also the Vanoise National Park and Lac Mont Cenis that are well worth exploring. If you're up for a challenge there's the Tour of the Vanoise Glaciers - the mountain huts (refuges) are excellent but you need to book in advance as they are very popular.Guest review byJonathanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I highly recommend this for those looking for a quiet but friendly Family resort- beautiful location and such a friendly village. The slopes were enough for such a range of abilities. We ate at the top of the gondola (le Pachu) mainly because it faced the sun, we could always get a seat and the staff were amazing. It was expensive though… 7 euros for a bowl of chips and 4 euros for a hit chocolate. Delicious though!Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I liked the tranquility of the place and the access to other stations in the Val Cenis area. However you need a car as there no effective shuttle service. I was touched by the Pleureuse memorial to the First War dead.Guest review byRupertUnited Kingdom
