- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 370 reviewsAbsolutely beautiful , it exceeded our expectations . Quiet luxury. From the checkin to check out we loved this hotel and hope to return. We arrived in the afternoon , so had a light lunch in the bistro by the pool . Limited menu but fine. Unobtrusive waiter service by pool. Comfortable room , gorgeous bathing products , free drinks and snacks in the mini bar . We had a ground floor room with small terrace and access to the gardens and pool. The restaurant on the grand terrace was fab and totally delicious food with spectacular views. The spa and heated jacuzzi was quiet and easily accessibleGuest review byjacquelineFrance
- From US$433.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 96 reviewsAn exceptional hotel, situated in its own vineyard. The location is fabulous, the food as very good and the wine of course is from their own production. Our stay included a complementary wine tasting in the vineyard shop (across the road). The Manager went out of her way to ensure all food requests were met. The gardens are beautiful and well kept, and there is a swimming pool for guests. The water was a little warmer than my taste, but I am sure most guests will like it that way. We stayed for four nightsGuest review byJulianUnited Kingdom

This place is like a family. 2 wonderful owners/managers. Amazing staff. From the receptionists to the night manager including the cleaning ladies. We tried the restaurant and the menu découverte. Out of this world. Amuse bouche with artichoke , Fabulous. Ceviche of Gambas 🦐 to die for and the veal…incredible. Goat cheese, which usually I don’t like, I cleaned the plate 😜😜😜. And the dessert, les gariguettes…fab.Guest review byFredSwitzerland

Avignon is a lovely city with so much history to the town as well as close by towns. You can see most of the major sites in one day and can easily travel to other towns like Nimes and Arles. We enjoyed wandering the streets and looking into the cute shops and eating at the restaurants.Guest review byMary BethUnited States - 10.0

I drove down from the Marne valley and this was as far as I wanted to drive in one day! Orange is a delightful little town with Roman theatre the main attraction, but I used it as a base to visit Mont Ventoux (Tom Simpson memorial), Avignon, Arles, Camargue and Pont du Gard - all easily reached by car. Quieter than the main Provence towns but with nice restaurants and cafes so was very happy with it as a base for 3 days. Favourite lunch spot was the Brasserie du Mule du Pape in Chateauneuf du Pape.Guest review byBodosUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Have visited before and we weren't disappointed the second time. It was lovely walking along the canals and watching the ducks. There's a wonderful olive farm called Moulin du Calanquet 44 minutes drive and definitely worth a visit with a beautiful shop.Guest review byColletteFrance - 10.0
Lovely town with a number of great restaurants.
Lovely town with a number of great restaurants. September was a good month to travel as the town was not over busy with tourists. From our accommodation it was easy to walk into town, so didn't require to use the car. Parking is limited in the town itself.Guest review byPAULNew Zealand - 4.0
There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa.
There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa. This was not evident when booking. Also a ridiculously $$$ amount for vandalism tax which is refundable but an extreme measure since the hotel is not even in the city of Avignon. But still there is a city tax. On the plus side there were options for dining out not far from the hotel.Guest review byWendyAustralia - 8.0
Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle.
Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle. In the town you will find the basics: supermarket, some restaurants, others. The old towncenter is nice, and late afternoon (not on marketday) we found good parking facilities. Tip: google maps doesn't know that some streets in the old town are closed and it navigates inside impossible places. It's better to park next to the river and walk 3 minutes to the center.Guest review byPéterHungary - 2.0

Avignon is a brilliant location for your stay in Provence.
Avignon is a brilliant location for your stay in Provence. Initially, we had looked at staying in one of the villages of Provence but on finding a great apartment decided to base ourselves in Avignon. This was the best decision and it worked out very well. We were able to go for day trips to towns like Les Beau, Gourdes, Roussillon and St Remy while also staying close to restaurants, markets and the beautiful historic sights of Avignon. I'd highly recommend this as a base and if possible stay as close to the old town as possible so that you can walk to everything.Guest review byKarenNew Zealand
