It's a beautiful and clean City with a lot to see.
It's a beautiful and clean City with a lot to see. The basilica is spectacular, but there is also a lot to see in the old City including the cathedral and old theatre. We had excellent meals at Maison Moly and Cafe Comptoir Abel. The dome bar in the intercontinental hotel is well worth seeing, but drinks were expensive. Geneva now is much more a touristic city versus some years ago. City itself has places to visit, and also is well located. In 1 hour of train trip or car driving, you can reach interesting locations around. Also, good to mention that Swiss authorities did a lot of progress in making Swiss cities safe. Police is everywhere. Some years ago was a raising big problem with French Immigrants Criminal Gangs which were stealing in Swiss boarder cities.Guest review byT M TRomania - 10.0

Avignon is a lovely city with so much history to the town as well as close by towns. You can see most of the major sites in one day and can easily travel to other towns like Nimes and Arles. The town is lovely.
The town is lovely. Enjoyed the Roman Colosseum, amphitheatre and baths. Visiting La Camargue our main reason for visiting Arles was a delight. However we found in general the food was a bit dissappointing. We visited the fabulous Luma Building which we loved also. To be honest, Valence is an ugly city.
To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down. If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.Guest review bybNetherlands - 8.0

The place was okay for one night Reza the young man who worked at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. There was no AC as it was mentioned but the room was very hot. They offer a microwave to worm up your food and the breakfast was just enough (coffee, croissants, cheese and jams). Easy access and close to the high way and the gas station. Gallo Roman Museum is terrific. Other Roman sites were closed. Ancient theatre being made into a modern facility. Cathedral was very large and old but interesting. Lots of bars and restaurants. A perfect location to visit Avignon avoiding the busy streets. The bus line connecting the village with the city is very frequent. Also to reach Avignon by foot is very easy and the path walk alongside the Rhone river is rewarding .
