Our travel plans went sideways due to poor weather. We arrived in the middle of the night but this wasn’t a problem - the staff were helpful and immediately put our minds at rest. We were met by a wonderful night manager on our arrival who was friendly and got us to our room with the minimum of fuss. We had an extremely relaxing stay. The staff are friendly and efficient, parking is easy, the whole place is clean and beautifully presented.

We were very happy with our stay. This is the second time we've been to The Mill Hotel. The staff were very helpful. In particular Jane, the manager who helped us get into our room early and booked an extra breakfast for us as we had arrived in the middle of the night outside of working hours. The breakfast was excellent with both Full English and Continental. I loved the croissants! We also enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the jacuzzi. The bar was also a nice place for a quiet drink and prices overall were very reasonable.

I liked the hydro pool experience and the message.

I liked the hydro pool experience and the message. I did not like the fact that you can not communicate what you want to the housekeepers because she did not speak a word of English. That was frustrating. The room had a bad smell when we got in and we wanted her to spray the room with air freshener and it took over 30 minutes to communicate that to her. That was very frustrating.

Avoid Avoid Avoid This was a booking made for work purposes After making this booking we were told they required £150 per person damage deposit. A process I feel has potential to be abused We tried to cancel straight away but host did not reply On the day of the booking, I still had no reply so I rang booking.com who called host whilst I was on the line and confirmed I could cancel the booking with the host agreeing the refund The host is now denying any knowledge of this call and after first agreeing to the refund are now withholding this No refund has been issued, and my emails are now been ignored Be wary of handing over any money to this host, I would anticipate issues getting damage deposits back etc with the issues myself and other guests seem to be encountering Read other reviews from other guests, as they seem to be withholding deposits for no reason

I went to Crewe to see the local area. I visited Nantwich and Sandbach. Nantwich is a lovely small town, and Sandbach is a bit bigger, both lovely to visit. The Market in Nantwich is lovely to visit, and there are a couple of National Trust places we didn't have enough time to visit, but we will do next time.

There is quite a range of shops along the high street; the surrounding houses and streets are leafy and pleasant. I found a cafe for coffee / cake / light lunch and the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. There is quite a lot of traffic which drives through. There are great activities though as I was visiting family I did not wish to pursue them - there seem to be bowls [on a crown green - not ten pin], golf, plenty of Churches. Quarry Bank Mill [NT] is close by.

Booked an overnight stay and fair to say, room and service were excellent from arrival, evening meal and breakfast. Easy recommend from us and we will be back for a longer stay next time as the area is lovely and well worth exploring. Only disappointment was the weather and the fact it was an overnight stay only, Will be back for a longer stay.

Truly they need to close it and re look at a total refurbishment It wasn’t worth what the price staff was barley visible you had to speak to them through a glass window Asking for proof of who you are when conformation has already been verified and paid on booking. Com It’s an unprofessional establishment quite shocking really My opinion is booking.com should remove it from their site.

Runcorn is beautiful and we came to visit relatives. But our stay at the hotel wasn’t worth it. It was old and needs overall revamping. Reception staff was nice but the room was so tiny with AC not working and bed was so uncomfortable. Wouldn’t stay at this property again.
