- From US$178.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,559 reviewsI must say that this is one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed and felt comfortable. We received a wonderful room on the first floor, with a direct view to the Castle of Conwy. The camera was quite large, spacious, with a comfortable double bed, decorated quite chic, in English style. The old radio modified into a very digital modern tool has been quite an asset. We loved the furniture, the lights and the bath that was extremely clean and fully uploaded with many cosmetics provided by partners of the Castle Hotel. The breakfast is amazing, you can select multiple options from a particular list, and we must say that the Full Welsh Breakfast and the selection of Eggs were on top of our preferences. Good coffee for two committed people with cofeine, but mostly a very pretty salon, with a fireplace, where during evenings we used to dine and have a drink. Good selection of beers, tasty fish and chips! The hotel is dog friendly, so we had many fluffy little ones to play with from neighbors. The hotel has some nice pubs and restaurants around and is situated in the heart of Conwy. We went right after Christmas and the decorations were lovely. To put all briefly, is a very pretty hotel, with good taste, great food, lovely view and an accurate English spirit. Conwy is very intimate, historical, kind, even during winters, and the staff of the hotel is very implicated, receptive, and professional. So, if you go in North Wales add Conwy Castle Hotel on your list!Guest review byOanaRomania
- From US$73.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 4,552 reviewsLovely location the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful on numerous occasions . One young lady on reception went above and beyond to help my 9 year old daughter with anything we needed , I wish I knew her name!! I am gluten intolerant and staff were very happy to accommodate my allergies and made sure I had a safe breakfast. We have just booked in for another short break and I’ve only been home a week !! Thank you staff at the Grand hotel for such a lovely stay and see you tomorrow!!Guest review byNicoleUnited Kingdom

Llandudno is an elegant resort that is as a pleasure to visit. We particularly enjoyed the Welsh National Opera at Venue Cymru, the Penderyn Distillery tour, strolling along the promenade and the variety of shops in the town centre.Guest review byT A JUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place.
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place. Quite small but lots of independent, quality shops. Nice places to eat and drink throughout the day and the evening and it felt very safe to walk around after dark. Road network is good, we had no problems finding parking spaces (our accommodation had no on-site parking), some was free on street parking but when we had to resort to designated car parks, they weren’t extortionate which was a nice surprise. Would quite happy return there againGuest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything about Conwy is so beautiful , including where we stayed . The only down side is finding a good place to eat in the evening , a lot of the places we visited from our stay in march 2025 and more recently sept 2025. Not very good quality of food , small portions for a very high price , one of our best meals was actual in a lovely bistro , after visiting snowdon .Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The beach is very quiet and offers free parking - not sandy but there are sandy beaches nearby in both directions. Shared cycle track and pedestrian walkway to Colwyn Bay in one direction and Rhyll in the other. Abergele town is quite small but has a large Tesco supermarket and a selection of restaurants.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A great house and location for a group or family get together. Spacious warm and very well appointed. With two double en-suite bedrooms and a twin room sharing family bathroom - excellent combination. The décor throughout is traditional and robust. Log burner plus open coal fire! Great ! Free parking for many vehicles just outside the door. Great walks for all abilities from the doorstep. Good bus link into the local villages. What more would you want? This hotel is a local hidden gem in Snowdonia, I would fully recommend visiting when in the local area. Mike and Carrie are superb hosts, fully accommodating and their journey is amazing. The Gorge down the river is truly magical and worth the walk. Rooms are spacious and having a full suite is even better with all new facilities. looking forward to the summer and seeing the progress on the rear of the building. fully deserved rating and will be visiting again.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The property was well located, easy to access local tourist attractions. The beach was a 5 minute walk, and the village where the property was located had good local shops and a small, well stocked supermarket. Access was generally easy (there was some building work on a neighbouring property, but there was no noise pollution heard in the flat.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom
