- From $113.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 881 reviewsI was in a room on the second floor at an adjacent building from the main building of this hotel complex. There were 4 rooms on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a separate bathroom in the room with a bathtub. There was a plexiglass protecting the one side of the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out. The hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was very good. The breakfast was typical Scottish style breakfast and was excellent. It was freshly cooked on the spot and the coffee was made on order (machine made and tasty!) The complex is right next to the Drumoig golf course and there was a deal for a "stay and play" which was very attractive in terms of pricing.Guest review byAndreaUnited Arab Emirates
- From $240.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 637 reviewsEverything was class! We stayed during off peak and it was so relaxing! We got to enjoy a quiet delicious meal for dinner followed by board games by the fire in the main lobby. The breakfast was excellent with home grown ingredients and fresh eggs and bread. The grounds are beautiful and it was only a short drive into St.Andrew’s.Guest review byBrandonUnited Kingdom

As an avid golfer there is no better place in the world to visit! The ambiance of the town is amazing - a mix of golfers, holiday makers and students from all over the world. The bars and restaurants are bustling but at the same time the town of St Andrews has a peaceful, charming and academic feel about it. Recommend the Dunvegan bar for a trip down golf’s memory lane, The Criterion - it’s a fantastic family run pub, The Jigger Inn which overlooks the 17th Road Hole of the Old Course and The Rule bar for a wee tipple or two. These were the ones we visited, there are many other to chose from - you are spoiled for choice! Bibi’s café is also a must for breakfast / brunch. A walk along the West Sands beach is a must and if you happen to be there on a Sunday, you can walk the Old Course - but don’t walk on the greens! We just love St Andrews!Guest review byKENNETHUnited Kingdom - 10

Dunfermline Abbey - resting place of Robert the Bruce is well worth a visit. So is the Carnegie museum - birthplace of Andrew Carnegie, once the world's richest man, and a champion of philanthropy and world peace. Pittencrieff park is lovely for a walk on a misty morning. It's a lovely place to stay.Guest review byLennonIreland - 10

I love this small town and whilst it is only 90 minutes from my home, I like to stay for a few days. it is quiet but has lively restaurants, pubs and shops. The beaches are beautiful with excellent coastal walks. Everywhere is dog friendly and my golden retriever had snacks given to her everywhere we visited.Guest review bySelkieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I was born in Kirkcaldy but my family moved away when I was fairly young. My reason for visiting was tinged with sadness as I was attending the funeral of an old friend; but It was lovely to go back and see how my birthplace is faring.Guest review byGloriaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is very convenient for avoiding the problems of Edinburgh (( parking, inflated room prices, terrible congestion and road works) It might not as picturesque as some other places but has aminaties and is ideal for visiting Fife Edinburgh etc.Guest review byNeilUnited Kingdom - 10
Fife is a beautiful part of Scotland.
Fife is a beautiful part of Scotland. It has a huge variety of different attractions to visit. Unfortunately, we were only visiting Glenrothes for a swimming competition this time but, we’ll be back soon to enjoy countryside, cuisine and magnificent beauty of “The Kingdom”.Guest review byStewart - 4.0

Leven is on the train line now, about an hour from Edinburgh. It's a bit of a one-horse town with only 1 restaurant open after 8pm, apart from a 60s style steak-house. If you're vegetarian, vegan, or lactose intolerant you're going to have problems eating in the evening.Guest review byJULIANUnited Kingdom - 8.0

My family and I had a fantastic stay in Inverkeithing and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Edinburgh without the hustle and bustle of staying directly in the city. What really sets Inverkeithing apart is its unbeatable location – just a short walk from the railway station, which has frequent and reliable trains to Edinburgh city centre. The journey takes less than half an hour, making it incredibly easy to enjoy all that Edinburgh has to offer while staying in a quieter, more relaxed setting.Guest review byVitaliiUnited Kingdom
