- From US$147.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 6,118 reviewsIt was nice to stay here. The breakfast was a bit boring and same during our staying. The room was tidy and was great to get clean towels every day. Near the hotel we could buy a power plug converter in a newsagent, because in the hotel was not functional the requested converter. Summary, our staying here was great.Guest review byMártaHungary

Lexicographer Dr.
Lexicographer Dr. Samuel Johnson wrote in the 18th century "A man who is tired of London is tired of life". I lived there for 10 years 60 years ago. (Of course, liike any old person for me the 'good old days' were always the best). London has changed almost beyond recognition, both in general landscape and population. But it is still immensely appealing for all the usual reasons. There are several new (to me) tube lines, so that access to any corner of Greater London (and even beyond!) is quick and easy. BUT: London is incredibly expensive. There used to be a book "London on $5 a Day". Today It'd be closer to $500 a day!Guest review byChristopherCanada - 6.0
Very convenient to get to/from T5.
Very convenient to get to/from T5. Pod wasn’t running evening I returned from trip but was the next morning. Efficient check in, room seemed furthest from reception, clean and comfortable bed but there was a loud, constant humming all night so I didnt get much sleep.Guest review bycbutler67United Kingdom - 8.0

Food is great and cheap. Hotels are reasonably priced. Plenty of options to pick up your stay. The Piccadilly line goes straight to central, and even if you drive, it is 30-40 minutes to reach central London. Heathrow is a 15-20 minute drive away.Guest review bySumanth RajUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It was set in a great location so close to bus, tram and train. An express train to London Bridge was only 16 minute trip. The house was cosy and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet.Guest review byAnneAustralia - 8.0

It is a bustling area of East London with an English working class and immigrant population. For me it was a pied a terre so I cannot speak to the amenities of Ilford itself. The Uber taxi drivers were uniformly helpful. I felt at ease there.]Guest review byLipsonIreland - 8.0

Location is good and easy to get to by public transport. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for a one night stop over for airport. You will need some sort of torch to see what you're doing when entering the code for your key as the outside of the building in not lit.Guest review byGregIreland - 10

I found barking very convenient for traveling into London.the station is right on the high street and it's a short journey into the city.the prices in barking are a lot cheaper than London too and there's plenty of shops and cafes in barking to keep you entertained. All in all I would recommend staying in barking especially if your on a budget.the dreams hotel is cheap and good. Which is only bout 2 mins from train station.plus there's a place at 76 longbridge road where you can stay.lovely ensuite rooms with a shared kitchen which is always clean and tidy.its on the high street bout 3 mins walk to train station.Guest review byNigel - 10

Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment such as theatres and cinema, especially Richmond Theatre on Richmond Green. There are plenty of wonderful walking routes and parks, Richmond Royal Park is beautiful. Loads of fantastic Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent transport links across London and wider areas. Richmond can be expensive, but is worth the extra costs for a short break.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10

I was born in Kingston and lived there for a large piece of my life. I like coming to Kingston as I can catch up with friends and family. Love the restaurants along the Thames tow path and the vast array of shops. London being a stones throw away by train.Guest review bySamiUnited Kingdom - 10
Absolutely beautiful home. So comfortable and spacious.
Absolutely beautiful home. So comfortable and spacious. Was completely spotless. Felt so at home. The host Sarah was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Lots of local amenities and large supermarkets just a few minutes drive away as well as large shopping centres. Lots of parks and playgrounds. Very close to soft play and Old MacDonald’s fun park. About a 45 minute drive to Southend beach too! Will definitely be back!Guest review byAftarUnited Kingdom
