- From US$162.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,687 reviewsLovely boutique hotel such a gem.of a find. Perfect location for Pantiles. Spotlessly clean room very comfortable bed and pillows. Townhouse is next to the main hotel but certainly worth the stay. Reception staff warm and welcoming. Calming feeling in lobby area with great space for quiet working. Bar staff a little scarce. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet style, which is great but took a while to get food assuming because all freshly cooked, which is fantastic but not if in a hurry. Allow plenty of time. Positives amazing hotel would highly recommend! Negatives hard to switch on shower and air conditioning needs instructions for remote. Not enough shampoo shower gel for 2 people sharing. All in all 10/10Guest review bylisaUnited Kingdom

Good choice of shops and restaurants.
Good choice of shops and restaurants. Good transport links if no car, i.e. regular buses for local trips or nearby towns including Hastings and Tunbridge and Railway Station (Hastings an hour away by train). Worth a visit to Museum and Art Gallery. Lovely parks including Calverley Park - easily accessible from town (walking) for a coffee or ice cream! Enjoy!!Guest review byAudreyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Rye is ye olde & quaint, with half-timbered houses & cobbled streets. A photographer’s dream! Steep in places. Lamb House, NT, is interesting, with pretty garden. Leave the car in any car park to explore properly.Guest review byMadelineUnited Kingdom - 6.0
We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years...
We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years having grown up in a village very close by and attending school there. In our opinion, it is not as nice as it was, we moved away some 10 years ago to escape the never ending urban sprawl, high street decline, and neon monstrosities built after demolishing irreplaceable period buildings. That said, there isn't really a lot to do, and is best summed up as a stop over for Gatwick Airport, a shame really as we have many fond memories.Guest review byJames TuckerUnited Kingdom - 4.0

We went to the English Heritage 1066 re enactment weekend and also visited Hastings where we had lived in the past. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs, some small independent retailers, and antiques. in Battle. The Abbey and museum are also worth a visit. . There is easy parking even on a busy weekend. It has easy access from the A21 linking up to M25.Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely high street albeit very busy at times, being a main route. Some nice shops for ladies and gents. We sampled two restaurants and enjoyed the food and service in both and finished both of our evenings in the Grape Vine listening to some jazz which was very relaxing. The White Lion is well placed in the centre of town and the service and beer were very good and the room was comfortable and clean.Guest review byStanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Southborough is a small town close to Tunbridge Wells, lovely wooded area and village green complete with cricket pitch and church with chiming bells. Traffic can frequently be very busy and scant parking although there are around a dozen places by the wood and church.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The breakfast was excellent.
The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very good for Hastings, Rye and Winchelsea. Avoid Room 6 if you like your room to be dark at night!Guest review byAnonymous
