We attended for an event.
We attended for an event. The accommodation was perfect as near to the beach as we could get. I enjoyed watching various vessels with binoculars from the top floor of our accommodation. There was plenty of places to eat and we loved eating in the wonderful outdoor places before the Harbour Arm. The scenery was beautiful and everyone was very accommodating. I would love to go again but stay longer. We didn't travel really once there as there was everything we wanted where we were within walking distance.Guest review bySusan - 10.0

The main purpose of or visit was to see places where I was born and brought up for the my first 10 years of my life starting at 1942. Much has changed and the area is very very congested. unlikely to visit againlGuest review byBurtonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The Dog & Bear was very comfortable.
The Dog & Bear was very comfortable. Great to have a bath with really hot water after a hard day walking the Pilgrims Way. Food was just what we needed, well cooked, filling and tasty. Staff were helpful friendly and interesting. Other places are available to eat. Many wonderful historic buildings in Lenham. Easy walk to the train station.Guest review byKatrinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed at the start of the summer holidays and hence were caught up in heavy traffic on the A20 enroute to Dover. Apparently that happens quite frequently, so factor this in to travel times. Very close to Leeds Castle, and not far from Canterbury and Sissinghurst so plenty to do in the area.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Super tradition English hotel, nicely furnished and welcoming. Very clean with well presented cosy rooms. Staff were very helpful and kind, they provided us with a ground level room as requested due to my wife’s mobility issues. The receptionist offered to help bring our luggage in, brilliant.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely architecture the old buildings are being restored not demolished! I wish my council was more like this! Lots of new housing will make the village much bigger. Excellent views of the Kent Downs. Good bus service to Dartford and Canterbury.Guest review byDebbiUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Old-world village. Great pubs. Ate at the chequers pub.
Old-world village. Great pubs. Ate at the chequers pub. Great staff. Shame public toilets are permanently shut as on the pilgrims way! Us pilgrims need a loo stop. Church definitely worth a look. Very interesting church organ.Guest review byRebeccaUnited Kingdom
