Firstly, the staff who were on the reception and the bar were excellent and very friendly, they were very happy to help, great service from Elaine and the team. Secondly, the rooms were the perfect size and nicely decorated, the beds were new and were very comfortable. Plus the food served in the bar is delicious including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The live entertainment is good too. Also the location is great it's very close to everything you need.

Damon's hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The room was excellent, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Whilst we didn't eat at the accompanying restaurant, we did use the bar, which, like the hotel, was excellent value for money. We will stay here again, and we will make more use of the onsite facilities.

Go there every few months to see family. It's my favourite hotel in Spalding. The Red Lion is a great hotel, yet this one, the The Cley is quieter and I get to sleep better. The staff are really kind to.

Our stay was brief so we only had a short time. The cathedral has impressive exterior stone carvings and the views from the castle must be great but we did not have the time to check that out. We ate at the Wig and Mitre (?) Good pub grub with good service.

Boston has an amazing history with lot's of historic period buildings. Unfortunately it is now full of young asylum seeking men hanging about in the centre of town. Lot's of the decent shops and many of the pubs have closed down. Such a shame because it could once again be beautiful ! Clear out the asylum seekers, create a sense of community and pump some investment back into the city !

I love Stamford.

I love Stamford. I visit often but first time with my girlfriends! Stamford has everything. Good food, pubs, hotels, walks, views, all in walking distance. Little alleys and side streets. Different high street shops. Seems so very friendly and also dog friendly. Parking can be interesting so take time to find a space, but it’s worth the effort to visit!
