London is so big and there is so much to do, you will never see it all in one trip, this time, we went to Greenwich, Sky Garden, Bletchley Park, Imperial war musseum, and did a day trip to Bath, as well as immerced ourselves in the Christmas lights, shopping, ABBA Voyage.

very close to the airport car returns on Perimeter Road.

very close to the airport car returns on Perimeter Road. It was half a mile along Bath Road then a left turn at Nene Road into Perimeter Road to Europcar returns depot. At 5a.m. it was plain sailing. The hotel has a restaurant and coffee bar, and the beds were comfy so we had a lovely sleep and rest. This is the second time I have stayed there and if I visit London again ,will be using there again.

"We stayed at this hotel from December 6th to 13th. The hotel was clean and cozy. The staff were very kind, accommodating, and professional. After a long time, my partner and I got a proper good night's sleep and truly relaxed. The breakfasts were excellent, and it was great that we could have something different every day. :) Thank you to the kind gentleman who managed the breakfast service for making me a waffle with Nutella and honey every morning. We had a wonderful time with you and I already miss it. I hope we'll see each other again soon! :) My boyfriend and I highly recommend this hotel!" "Visiting London has always been my dream, so my boyfriend and I were looking at hotels and I came across this one, and I'm so grateful that we chose this hotel. Thank you so much for everything!"

We had just one night- arrived in the morning (and were allowed to park and leave the car), nice lunch at the hotel and then the train (35 mins) into London for a few hours. The next day, we visited Hampton Court Palace (parked in the HCP car park up the road) and then drove home from there. It was a great way to do it.

Good location, easy to travel to City. About 3 bus stops away to South Earling stn, Piccadilly line, all the way to various Museums, Buckingham Palace. Just around the corner of the hotel is a local Supermkt for us to pick up bottles of water. South Earling stn is also 6 stns away from Heathrow, which is very convenient to the hotel.

The staff vary considerably - some are friendly and really helpful whereas others are 'just doing the bare minimum'. There were some great eateries around the area and plenty of shops, bank and coffee houses. Great location with easy access to the station and the town.

The local subway was well used and we ate there.

The local subway was well used and we ate there. There was reasonable choice and hot drinks, which I didn't expect. Depending on what you like to eat, there are plenty of small eateries. Where we were, there was a station and many buses so connections are there to get around. Pleasant enough suburb.

I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House.

I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House. The location is relatively convenient for Stansted Airport – about an hour by car transfer – and the staff were friendly enough. As my room did not have a microwave, they kindly allowed me to use the kitchen one. The room and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels provided daily, which I appreciated. However, one major issue left me quite frustrated. On the morning of my departure, I had an early flight at 7 am and needed to wake up at 3 am. To my surprise, the electricity (or main lighting) in my room and bathroom was completely off. I had to shower using my phone’s flashlight. Thankfully, I had finished packing the night before, as doing so in pitch darkness would have been impossible. I checked, and it wasn’t just my room – the small room between my entrance and the main hallway also had no power. Only the main hallway lights were on, which was a relief, as otherwise carrying two heavy suitcases downstairs would have been extremely unsafe. This situation made me think: what if a guest were ill and needed the bathroom at night, a breastfeeding mother needing light, or someone returning late in the evening? I had noticed the generator (or main power) going on and off during the two previous nights as well, with a short power surge to the mini fridge, which was quite noisy. This is an important matter that should be communicated to guests and fixed promptly. While the cleanliness and some of the staff’s helpfulness were positives, this power outage experience left me feeling stressed and disappointed.
