United KingdomOur 2nd time and most definitely not our last. It’s a beautiful cottage with all you need for your stay. It’s perfect for relaxing, walking, pubs, shops. The bedrooms are all lovely and the beds comfy. It’s clean, warm and has enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts are great and very responsive. They also send you lots of info on what’s available locally and a little further afield but we just park up the car and chill in Masham as it’s lovely as are the people. You will not be disappointed if you book this place!

United KingdomSuch a lovely cosy apartment, immaculately clean, comfy bed and the log burner was amazing! Perfect location, 15mins walk into Pateley Bridge, 2 lovely pubs and lots of lovely local shops selling homemade local produce! Make sure you grab a hot chocolate from Cocoa Joes! The steak at The Crown was amazing and if you fancy a wander, can definitely recommend the Sportsmans Arms in Wath, about 50mins walk from the apartment. Food was outstanding and can recommend the Mussels and Venison!

A beautiful archetypal English market town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales. Masham's market square is possibly the best example of this rural feature anywhere. Everything was brilliant from the location, the welcoming atmosphere,the food was on point, staff friendly and accommodating, great walks and a chippy across the road too! My partner and I stayed in the purple room which has 2 double beds. This was great news to me after a few drinks and a few sheets to the wind. A short walk up a flight of stairs and I had my own bed ! No flatulence or 💤 😂 beds are comfy too.Guest review byCheryl - 10.0

Looked to be a very small village. Didn't have time to look round Timble, but looked to be vary near to activities /attractions. Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise. As well as the obvious terrain of the Yorkshire Dales for hill walking, the town was a great base. Walks on the upland moors, and many well-maintained paths through the upper farm lands. The town itself has lots of footpaths throughout the town, so its easy to avoid just walking along the streets, and many green spaces with extensive play facilities. Views were fantastic. Easy to get to Harrogate every day. I am not a fan of chemical toilet, but considering the difficulties of putting in anything else it was totally understandable. The road was very rough, but as it was a farm road this was not really surprising. The views were superb. Lovely and quiet place to stay. Clean and had everything needed. The footpath from Lofthouse to Middlesmoor was a short stroll up the hill (albeit with some nettles). The circular walk to Scar House Reservoir was 9.8miles, an OS map was handy as the path disappears at points. Lovely village and very friendly. Great for getting about in the area . Plenty of tea shops and eating places ,plus takeaways, and gift shops to browse. Plus a great sweet shop.
