- From US$324.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 321 reviewsYoung couple visiting Cotswolds for the first time . Absolutely outstanding hotel grounds! We could not believe the size of the place. We were delighted with the service of the staff they all worked hard , were attentive and the place was beautifully decorated and clean . Room was clean , spacious and cosy . Main house we really enjoyed exploring particularly the reception and billiard room! The spa was excellent with immaculate changing rooms . We went at a quiet time so had full use of the jacuzzis. Just what you need on a cold dry night. Dressing gowns in the rooms which were perfect if you took a chilly walk there. The food was delicious and plenty of options. We opted to have 3 courses at the travelling duke for 2 nights for only £25pp including steak ! We hope we can come back for a meal at the Brassiere as this was booked up every night. The value for the location, room, food, spa and hotel entertainment services was excellent. Didn’t use the golf course but it was appealing. Lots of activities to do too when you are there. The location was perfect and only a short drive to Chipping Norton and into other towns. Surprised it didn’t attract a younger crowd but we can’t wait to come back!Guest review byemmaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,091 reviewsThe Randolph Hotel was an oasis during our stay in Oxford. We enjoyed sipping drinks in the Morse Bar and the hotel's central location, within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and sites, as well as its wonderful pet policy and availability of parking added to the ease and comfort of our stay. It's location, right across the street from The Ashmolean Museum was an added bonus. The staff were both welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable with a lovely 'Oxford charm'. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others.Guest review byCasselmanCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 270 reviewsAn enchanting place in a lot of green. Never have we seen so much cordiality, cleanliness, care and loving detail. Very romantic and peaceful. Everything is perfectly thought out, from the tent furnishings, the ready-to-go fireplace in front of the tent to the functional kitchen shelter. The operators were exceptionally friendly and helpful.Guest review byJudithSwitzerland

It had been a long time since I visited Oxford and much had changed. It was fun to explore some of the better-known places (Ashmolean, of course, as well as one or two of the cottages), as well as lesser known ones (the History of Science Museum -- an unexpectedly delightful gem).Guest review byDeborahUnited States - 10.0

A nice little town which we visited for social reasons. Hit on market day which added to the atmosphere. Other than that we did not spend a lot of time there but would like to investigate further should there be a next time.Guest review byBarryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Chipping Norton is a lovely town with great Pubs and cafe's and shops. It is in an ideal location to travel to many lovely towns and villages and has nice walks all around. We had Sunday Dinner at The Fox which was gorgeous. The yorkie was huge, 4 slices of meat and plenty of veg. We had a celiac and they were very knowledgeable and had a good choice of gluten free. The staff were brilliant. Also visited The chequers and the food, staff and choice again was brilliant.Guest review byamandaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Delightful old town with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Lovely old buildings, especially the almshouses and the church. Friendly people. Good eating places. Smashed avocado at The Pablo Lounge is excellent! Good location for catching a bus into Oxford or for exploring the area generally. Walks along river delightful.Guest review byPamelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Banbury is a lovely town, old enough to have a lot of character, large enough to have an excellent range of facilities. We were fortunate to be there when there was an excellent festival down by the canal (and the best value cheese we've ever had). St Mary's Church is beautiful and well worth a visit (and a donation - these places are special but expensive to maintain). We look forward to future visits.Guest review byGrantUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Glad we could walk around town, traffic very heavy and even gridlock one day, burst main I believe. Lovely little market on Thursday morning. Loved it, will go back to book festival next year, amazing number of events/authors.Guest review byjaneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

An attractive small town, right next door to Blenheim Palace and near to Oxford: an excellent base for exploring the area more generally. The town has lots of places to eat and drink, and some useful shops, including a co-op in the centre of town. Prices aren't cheap, but quality is good. Parking can be a bit of a problem at busy periods, but we managed OK.Guest review byGeoffreyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We did not visit Witney itself but this country hotel with easy access to the Cotswolds and Oxford. The hotel has a comfortable feel about it both in the public areas and our rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had good weather but did not sit outside which would be lovely in the summer. We ate in the restaurant for the two nights of our stay.Guest review byTerryUnited Kingdom - 10.0
