The hotel location is exactly in the heart of Oxford city centre, so the hotel excellent for families who likes to be in the city center for sightseeing and shopping. Also, the hotel rooms are clean and large enough compare to similar hotels rooms in London, as well as the rooms are quite.

Just Oxford being Oxford.

Just Oxford being Oxford. Lovely place to visit been there many times. The walks, university or around the city are lovely. Botanic gardens a must visit. If new to Oxford take the tour bus to get a feel for the city. Lovely parks and walks along the river. Great eating and night life. Use park and ride frequent and lovely drivers. The covered market is not as varied as it used to be mostly eateries now, but there a loads of lovely restaurants. It is due to b refurbished soon so may not be open for a while, but if it is go there.

Chipping Norton is a lovely town with great Pubs and cafe's and shops. It is in an ideal location to travel to many lovely towns and villages and has nice walks all around. We had Sunday Dinner at The Fox which was gorgeous. The yorkie was huge, 4 slices of meat and plenty of veg. We had a celiac and they were very knowledgeable and had a good choice of gluten free. The staff were brilliant. Also visited The chequers and the food, staff and choice again was brilliant.

Delightful old town with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Lovely old buildings, especially the almshouses and the church. Friendly people. Good eating places. Banbury is a lovely town, old enough to have a lot of character, large enough to have an excellent range of facilities. We were fortunate to be there when there was an excellent festival down by the canal (and the best value cheese we've ever had). St Mary's Church is beautiful and well worth a visit (and a donation - these places are special but expensive to maintain). We look forward to future visits.

An attractive small town, right next door to Blenheim Palace and near to Oxford: an excellent base for exploring the area more generally. The town has lots of places to eat and drink, and some useful shops, including a co-op in the centre of town. Prices aren't cheap, but quality is good. Parking can be a bit of a problem at busy periods, but we managed OK.
