- From US$137.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,229 reviewsI am surprised by some of the poor reviews. We used this a one-nighter before an early flight (we did not do breakfast) and I was very happy. Good room, good TV, bathroom. Easy checkin, Good restaurant on-site. Good price. Shuttle to the airport for a price (about the same as a taxi - no point in waiting for it to go to the hotel, but it is convenient to have it booked for return). Ample parking. Much cheaper than the hotels closer to the airport.Guest review byJohnUnited States

Glasgow is a lovely university town with a world class museum - the Kelvingrove. Plenty of bars and restaurants and a lively night life seen. Not touristy like Edinburgh, but lived in and comfortable.Guest review byLeslieUnited States - 10.0

Oban is a vibrant place with it's facilities. Easy access to the ferries for island visits and any amount of eateries to an individuals taste. Buses to Glasgow and Edinburgh daily also buses South and North along the coast.Guest review byGeorge WUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A wonderful place—I come back every year!
A wonderful place—I come back every year! Paisley is well worth a visit, not only for its charm but also for the warmth and friendliness of the people. There are plenty of great spots to eat and drink; my personal favorites are Roasters Coffee Shop on High Street and the Wetherspoon’s pub conveniently located next to the train station. The town is also extremely well connected: just 10 minutes by train from Glasgow, home to Glasgow Airport, and a little over an hour by train to Edinburgh. Within Paisley itself, there are many attractions to enjoy, such as the historic Abbey and Coats Memorial, and soon the observatory and other sites will reopen to visitors. If you’re traveling to Glasgow, it’s definitely worth taking the time to stop by Paisley for a walk and to soak in its unique atmosphere.Guest review byMiguelSpain - 8.0

Ayr is beautiful there’s some nice places to go and visit. We went to the Ayr farm park and seen the highland cows. We also walked to the pier and watched the sea. It’s so scenic. We had a Icecream in Ronaldo’s which was lovely and very well priced.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...Guest review byTownsley - 8.0

Good parking and good local facilities - local church, nearby restaurant, and, should you need it, a large supermarket. The room faced the road but there was no road noise whatsoever! Good room decor and clean - but a cheeky spider lurking in the bed gave my wife a fright!Guest review byLESZEKUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel on the banks of Loch lomand as its very close. The hills are walking distance from the hotel so on the second day we walked up Ben ime. The views are spectacular if you have not been to the west of Scotland you willl be impressed and the location is so close to Glasgow, difficult to believe a large city is so close.Guest review byDr BeeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I think Robert Burns is an amazing writer but he's all wrong about Inverary. It's a friendly town with wonderful shops, amazing food especially if it comes out of Loch Fyne. Stay at The George Hotel and Charlie, Sam, and the entire staff will create lifetime memories for you.Guest review byMarkUnited States
