I come to the UK just for the Hotel Pelirocco. It makes me happy that there are people in the world who make extraordinary spaces for others to enjoy. Everything about the place is magical from the paintings in the corridors to the bounce of the mattresses and the tiling in the showers. Location is perfect, you can walk anywhere, the view is breathtaking, all the employees were so nice and helpful! Room service with different options for kids helped when the little one was sick and the indoor pool, little play area in the main lobby and few fishes in front of the reception made for amazing memories even during rainy days. We will go back and so should you!!

Our room was the ‘cosy double’ and it was small but it had all possible extras to make our stay comfortable such as nice quality tea and coffee, hairdryer, aircon, nice toiletries. The bathroom was newly renovated and well designed although the shower was a bit small. The Spa was amazing! Really very special

Hastings was an interesting town.

Hastings was an interesting town. We enjoyed the old part of the town and the funicular railway lifts, as well as the smugglers' caves, which were a must see! There were many good bars and restaurants. The nearby towns of Battle and Rye were also well worth a visit and easily visited using local buses.

Lewes is very good as a place to stay if you are interested in history or just like browsing local shops. It also has excellent railway connections so you can get to Brighton, Hastings, Eastbourne and up into Sussex by public transport. It is hilly and a good base if you want to explore the South Downs by walking. A good range of restaurants, pubs and cafes too.

The spa was very well apportioned and it was very quiet and secluded. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely pleasant. One thing they must do in the restaurant is ensure that the wine ordered has arrived and ready to drink before the food is served. It is not good form to serve the food without the wine bottle even being at the table, let alone not opened.
