I have enjoyed every single minute of my stay at Ocean Villa Heights hotel, the room was comfortable, shower fantastic, breakfast was great and food was brilliant.
Many thanks to Abdullah, Bebe, Muhammad the security man, Malang, Mbassi and the energetic girls cleaning the rooms and hotel.
The hotel made my short visit to The Gambia so enjoyable, I will definitely come back in the future God willing.

United KingdomThis hotel is a real gem, the rooms are superb and are cleaned regularly. The beds are comfortable and you have aircon that really does work. The breakfasts were one of the best I had during countless stays in Gambia and will match the likes of some of the other larger hotels with a simular namesake. The airy dinning rooms are decorated impeccably and the food quality and presentation was stunning. The overriding feature at this hotel is the customer service given by all members of staff, you will not come away disappointed. You are looked after in all aspects and the management team work together to support staff and there customers. This hotel was an accidental find but I will gladly return again and again.

The cleaner Foday was exceptionally friendly, staff member Ben was kind and offered to show me around as a guide, Abu who worked in the kitchen was a great guy, Adex and security out the front are great people to speak to and the people on the front desk are super friendly too.

It was situated about one kilometre away from the main tourist areas with plenty of taxis nearby, although I could walk into the centre in about 10 to 15 minutes. It was a 10 minute walk from a beach. There is a supermarket downstairs to buy food and drinks etc. There is a large spacious dining and sitting area with enough cooking and eating equipment to cook basic meals. A large double bedroom with a cupboard to store clothes etc. A shower, sink and toilet area with plenty of hot water. Great food too, such as butter fish and spicy chicken and recommend the delicious Gambian juice called Wonjo. And we are glad we did! The communication prior to arrival and the warm and friendly welcome from the host and her staff make Villa Calliandra an absolute winner. The family enjoyed lazy afternoons by the pool and appreciated the breakfast options. In the evening, we were able to try the traditional tea with the house manager. I was in Brufut for 20 days this trip.
I was in Brufut for 20 days this trip. EVERY day the power went out. Make sure you book at a place with a back-up generator or you will be miserable.
