Check-in was very straight-forward and easy, and my host even personally delivered my nicely-appointed breakfast to the apartment the next morning! The apartment that I stayed in was very clean and comfortable and had so many facilities - more than I could ever have needed for my short stay. It would especially be a great stay for couples with or without children, or small groups of friends, including those who wish to self-cater. There is not a great deal within easy walking distance, but the apartments are nevertheless located very conveniently to many restaurants and cafes, as well as the Ancient Temple of Poseidon archaeological site, if one has a car.

A lovely overnight stay, a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport. The hotel organised the taxi for us and we paid the driver E45 - the going rate. We walked along the coast to the little harbour town to the right of the hotel (as you look at the hotel from the sea). We ate at a wonderful restaurant - XH.MA - not touristy, great food.
The breakfast at the hotel was very good - lots of options, including gluten free and vegan.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The view from our room and balcony was excellent. The room is very large and the bed was comfortable.
The welcome cocktail at check in and the bowl of fruit in our room - very nice touch.
If you are passing through Athens as we were and want a break from the city, this is the place for you.

The apartment was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The area was quiet, and the car park felt safe.
It was also conveniently close to a metro station with parking, making travel to the city center easy and hassle-free. The apartment had beautiful views, and the communication with the owner was excellent.
Overall, a great place for a high-quality and relaxing stay.

Not a lot to do in the direct area around the hotel , apart from watersports. Taxi 30 mins to ferry in Lavrio takes you to the island of Kea. Also different direction to cape sounio for Poseidon temple, which is worth a visit.

If you're having problems with walking, you should think twice, from the rooms to the beach and pool is not far away, but if you're old enough to have some difficulties with steps and walking, be careful. Other than that, for kids, for adults, a perfect place... Beach, sea, pool, everything was so good.

This area is quiet and has a wonderful natural view, there are a few restaurants and cafes. There is a great beach. It has a large market. There are bus stops on the street. 27 minutes to the airport by taxi.It has a great area for walking. For those who want peace.

Its a wonderfully clean beach. The beach is free entry beach, with clean sand and water.
The restaurant next to Varkiza beach serves fantastic foods at amazing price, must try for all.
The market is on the other side of the beach (walk 800 mts) , but it is happening till late into the night, There are plenty of restaurants nearby,
well connected to local bus system. Airport bus is about 2 km away,but there is no vending machine near this bus stop.
we suggest buy tickets in advance from vending machine near Esplanade, if you are traveling at odd hours.

We couldn’t really enjoy Lagonisi because of the accommodation we stayed in.
We spent most of our time doing laundry, waiting for the coin-operated machine to finish, driving back and forth, and cleaning. We didn’t have enough time to actually relax and enjoy the area.
Most of the laundry time was spent driving back and forth to a laundromat we found about 30 minutes away, and then waiting another 40 minutes for the clothes to dry.
On the day of arrival, the house was not ready, and we had to drive back and forth several times until the host finally said we could enter. Because of that, we couldn’t do the things we had planned for that day.
Honestly, because of the accommodation, I regret choosing to stay in Lagonisi at all - it made it hard to enjoy such a beautiful area.
The area itself is very beautiful - the beaches we saw along the way were lovely, and the restaurant where we had dinner was very good. These small moments helped us make the best of the situation.

We had the most wonderful stay at this apartment! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and spotless. The space was beautifully furnished, with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, which made it easy to enjoy breakfast and dinner together as a family. The living area was a perfect gathering spot, and the apartment had excellent natural light and a peaceful atmosphere. I would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone traveling with family. It was clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

There were loads of restaurants and different beaches. Especially hidden spots to go and explore. Going to the lake is definitely worth a visit but you have to go early, we went around 11 and the beds were busy but once we got a bed it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this area

Palaia Fokaia is a cute small town with direct and easy access from Athens and the airport. Cordially recommended for its beauty, offers any facility and shops, promising an easy and quiet life. Amazing beaches and beautiful prosperous fields facing mountain scenery, in an almost artistic combination. Delicious fish taverns and traditional Greek restaurants everywhere. Polite and friendly people around. We are Palaia Fokaia fanacits !!!

Quite a way from Athens so had taxi there and back. Well worth the trip. Had good meal with Greek music and dancing and then taxi took us to the Acropolis to take some photos. Had a good meal locally in a little taverna. Typical Greek food and hospitality.

Our travel to Anavyssos has the aim to visit the historical mines of Lavrio. These are on one side the archaeological mines and on other side mines of the last mining period. As photographers and specialists for historical mines we especially document the not well known mines by photos, drawings and stories. Therefore Anavyssos is one of the best places.
