- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.7Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 595 reviewsactually I think it’s a great place, not luxurious but well maintained. It seemed to me that the room was freshly painted, the mattress was comfortable and the under the pillowcase the pillows were bright white, they had cotton with bamboo sheets and towels. The elevator is brand new or renovated (I am not an expert). I arrived late at night, but the receptionist came immediately outside to help me with the luggage and welcome me. While I was filling out the paperwork, Fotis (the receptionist) provided me with anti mosquito tablets and the heater for them. Later I had a need for an extension cord and he provided me with one. Also, during early September is extremely pleasant to sleep with the blinds closed on open windows, but there was a properly functioning air conditioner. Actually the shower cabin was a bit claustrophobic, but if you don’t close the shower doors it’s fine, the water was very hot and plenty for long showers. The staff was very nice, friendly and most of all they didn’t engaged me with small talks (because I hate those kinds of conversations), except to ask me if I needed anything and if it was a suitable time for the housekeeping. The view from the room is unbelievable, only palms and the sea. Plenty of restaurants and bars are very close, if you want a quiet vacation and to enjoy the time at Athens you will like it. There is a good option for public transportation to Athens that costs 2,90€, stops right next to the metro station and it is very convenient to get to the centre of the city. I think it’s a family owned business and they treat you like personal guests and are very accommodating. Don’t be shy saying hello to them because they sure enjoying taking care of their guests. The pool is big and deep and the atmosphere of the hotel is like going to grandma’s house with old but homie feelings. The food was very nice and very tasty. The only thing that we missed my sister in law has lactose tolerancy and lactose milk was not available, we bought it in a kiosk. The stuff was always nice and did their best to make us feel great in every aspect. The hotel it self is absolutely beautiful and all the facilities are great. We loved the beach and the chairs were amazing. There are two small towns about 15 minutes away in the car where you can go for a walk and shopping. My online info about Tinas Village was exactly what the place was all about. The pick up and return to the airport was great and accurate. The rooms were exactly as expected, everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, not super fancy but better than was we were expected. Not much to do there, sleep, relax and go to where you are planning to go. The property was spotless.
The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport . We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens . The harbor restaurants were expensive but good seafood. Not much to do in the town but it's beautiful. Looked like the smaller, more affordable version of the Amalfi coast. Bus is pretty good to get around town. Light hiking/ walking opportunities. We really just chose to stay here because its 20 mins to the airport and something different than busy Athens. Booked for 2 nights as a stop-over to connect with a cruise leaving Port Lavrio. As was close to Cape Sounion, took advantage and visited the Temple of Poseidon which we enjoyed.
