- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 149 reviewsSince we arrived, we were so taken in by the unbelievable beauty of the hotel and how attentive, welcoming and professional the staff were. Apostolia by the front desk, Thanasis by the restaurant and of course Aris for having such a team are absolutely worth a mention. Breakfast was full of Mediterranean taste and super matching the ambience of the insane caldera view. As it comes to the room we were so surprised with the state of the art sound system, the size of the bed, the cleanliness of the room and the lovely jacuzzi! We definitely recommend the hotel for anyone travelling to Santorini. Through whatsapp they arranged anything we asked for and we couldn’t be happier. Transfer to the airport and back was arranged by the hotel, restaurant reservations, wine tours, boat tours and although we didn’t rent a car, we could through the hotel. So easy and possible. Overall, this is what hospitality should be like! Thank you!Guest review bySebastianNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 500 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived at Cavo Tagoo, we were treated with such respect and felt like royalty! We stayed in the room with private hot tub for one night as part of our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed also using the infinity pool with beds. The breakfast (included) was incredible with a large variety of options. The property is not walking distance to downtown, but they provided a free shuttle to/from at all hours of the day. An incredible stay and definitely with the money! Especially for couples!Guest review byLauraUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 164 reviewsThe room was spacious and with an amazing view!! The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They provided us with a complimentary room upgrade that we are thankful for! The food at the restaurant was tasty and the area by the pool is very beautiful. The location is great, with a breathtaking view of the famous Koukounaries beach but also easy access to it, either on foot or with the hotel buses, which are available every 15 minutes.Guest review byEleniUnited States

The regular restaurants are great.
The regular restaurants are great. The ancient stuff is awesome. The sea is a close by. The people are friendly and helpful. You don't need to speak Greek, a little English is fine. The music and cultural events are numerous. Plan ahead and see a band you love, they all stop there. I've been often.Guest review byPanagiotopoulosCanada - 10

Loved the harbor & waterfront, the charming narrow pedestrian streets, the shops, the tavernas, the restaurants. We also did an excellent tasting tour (bakery, cheese, honey, olive oil & wine).Guest review byGladskiUnited States - 10

Beautiful, safe town with many local attractions, beautiful historic churches and Venetian port to explore, Central town bustling with cafes, shops and people walking up and down enjoying the sights and sounds of Heraklion. Superb weather September - October. Good value food. Excellent bus service to take buses to other parts of CreteGuest review byHelenAustralia - 10

We go there a day or two early arriving from Athens to board our cruise ship. Piraeus is a lovely city. Almost next door is a new building with a bar looking out over the harbour. Down on the corner is a great kebab place and just across the road is a local, family run taverna with great food. We always order too much!Guest review byGailAustralia - 10

I stayed 3 nights and managed to do quite a lot, however, I think 1-2 extra days is required to see all there is to offer. I never managed to get to Red Beach which I think I could have managed if I’d stayed one extra night.Guest review byTeaganAustralia - 8.0
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants.
Picturesque city with a multitude of bars and restaurants. A few high end clothing stores, and many many businesses selling jewelry, clothes, souvenirs and fridge magnets. Quite small, apparently caters to party goers over the summer (went in October end of season, where most main venues had closed).Guest review byMarkSwitzerland - 10

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 10
We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather!
We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather! The crowds were not too bad expect for when the cruise ships came in, we avoided the town from 10am to around 1:00pm, evenings during the sunsets it gets crowded but it worth it to watch the sun go down, the sky lights up and is so beautiful, you can't miss it. Schedule a catamaran or private boat cruise, we highly recommend getting on the water to see it from the sea. Great shops and restaurants, you have to have the gelato at Lolita's, it's the best I've ever had!Guest review byNoraUnited States - 10

The Old Town Agora and the Hotel - amazing. Izmir is extremely well located to head out early and explore Ephesus. We should have stayed another day and taken some boat cruises and organised a private guide to showcase the city to us... but we just ran out of time.Guest review byGabrielleAustralia
