- Scored out of 10, guest rating 10.0Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 500 reviewsOur stay at Polikandia was most enjoyable and we enjoyed every moment, from the inclusive transfer that brought us there until the very last minute of our 4 nights stay. The staff is incredibly friendly. You can feel the family atmosphere while the owner sits on his terrace and discretely overlooks that his guests don't lack anything to make them at ease. Dimitris who welcomes you at the front desk is the human incarnation of efficiency. Every hotel in the world should have a Dimitris! The hotel is hardly 10 minutes away from the harbour and you reach the lovely center of Chora in less than 2 minutes walk. In all points, Folegandros, Chora and Polikandia offer the perfect match for a most enjoyable holiday in the Greek Cyclades.Guest review byFrankBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 615 reviewsVery friendly gentleman at the reception, if I remember correctly, his name was Jorgos. He gave all the information about what to see on the island, which are the beautiful beaches, how the taxi boats work. If you needed anything, he arranged everything. The breakfasts were excellent, but the offer was the same every day. The rooms are very clean, they are also cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to the port and the beach on one and the other side of the hotel. They offered free transportation from the port, although it was a very short walking distance. The view from the room was phenomenal. I have to admit that this island was one of my favorites in the Cyclades, as was this accommodation.Guest review byBARBARASlovenia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsWe stayed at the Onar suites for our honeymoon and it was by a margin our favorite place in all of the Cyclades (and we stayed at the more exclusive Milos Cove). Petros gave us the warmest welcome to this little paradise of a place. This place is truly magical, incredibly quiet (at least in May, at the start of the season), with an extraordinary view of the sunrise, delicious breakfast with local ingredients. Folegandros is a gem, and this hotel is an even rarer find, we plan to come back, hopefully more than once. Thank you Petros and Cinta for this wonderful experience.Guest review byLouis-HenriFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 199 reviewsThe view is absolutely spectacular, the best on the whole island. It's a very peaceful place to go on holiday and take the opportunity to disconnect. You open the bedroom door and all you see in front of you is the sea... the sea and... the sea. The room has everything you need to be comfortable. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel, excellent beaches and it's a great island with few people compared to other islands like Santorini or Mikonos. For me, it's the real Greek island that stands out for its simplicity.Guest review byJoanaPortugal
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 392 reviewsPicturesque 2 storey villa style buildings around a large pool area. Very comfortable room, with a large outdoor terrace, 10 steps from the pool. Located a short walk into the village. The village is pedestrian only, with a maze of charming picturesque streets and squares, with single storey terraces of houses, and squares with restaurants and shops.Guest review byRichardFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 268 reviewsSuch a fantastic boutique hotel, 5 minutes walk into Chora, fantastic pool, amazing rooms, airco’s that work! Collected from the port and also dropped off. Great bed and such comfortable large sofas to relax on. Huge terrace and a balcony. I honestly can't wait to visit again. The view is incredible.Guest review byFrancisNetherlands

Truly the most picturesque and beautiful Greek island I have ever been to. Great for relaxing and chilling, romantic and authentic Cycladic vibes and style. Coming from the crowds of Santorini it was such a pleasant surprise and had an unforgettable time. Beautiful and untouched beaches with our favourite being Agali.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We enjoyed staying at the port.
We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.Guest review byMELISSAAustralia - 10.0

A quiet place off the beaten path for those that prefer to travel away from crowds. The supermarket had everything we needed and was approximately 400 meters from where we stayed. The views are like no other and absolutely stunning sunsets.Guest review bySheetalKenya - 10.0

We would highly recommend staying in Agkali when visiting Folegandros. The beach is not only beautiful, with turquoise waters and golden sand, but it’s also the perfect starting point to explore nearby coves and hidden beaches. It can get a bit crowded during the day — though we’ll admit we’re quite picky, as we usually prefer more secluded spots. That said, Agkali is still peaceful and it’s served by a few charming tavernas — our favorite was Pasithea. In the evening, once the beach clears out, the place becomes truly magical: quiet, intimate, and almost private, with the sea in front of you and the stars above.Guest review byElenaItaly - 2.0
Please see earlier review.
Please see earlier review. Briefly, this place is totally unsuitable for more than two guests. The second bedroom is a windowless cell with no proper furnishings. It is a fire death trap and should not be slept in. The property description is totally inaccurate. There are not two bathrooms. There is certainly no bidet or private bathroom. It stank of tobacco.Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A traditional island without all the hustle and bustle of major cruise ships A must see island if you are exploring the Greek Islands as it gives you a glimpse of what traditional Island life is really like. Small cobblestone laneways into a picturesque old town!Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.Guest review bySharonIreland - 10.0
The wild west of Folegandros.
The wild west of Folegandros. Traditional cycladic farmhouses, donkeys helping the farmers execute their everyday tasks. Peace and many footpaths options to hike to a nearby beach withing 30-45minutes. A great surpise were time stands still.Guest review byZoeGoGreece - 10.0

Blue Sand was simply stunning….from the decor, the outstanding service ethic of the staff, (they couldn’t do enough to help us)the delicious breakfasts and to top it all, the beautiful view of the sea and proximity to a sandy beach. I would highly recommend a stay at this outstanding hotel.Guest review byJaneSouth Africa - 10.0
Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean.
Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean. Very comfy with great hot water, great beds. Decor in the rooms is a bit retro and dated and the TV placements are hilarious (you can't view the screens around the 4 poster beds) but you're not there to watch tv. Enjoy the amazing pool, the great drinks and the amazing town. It's the best!Guest review byJenniferUnited States
