That set the tone For our anniversary stay. I also love the fact that our beach chairs were already reserved and waiting us. The staff was exceptionally accommodating for everything that we asked for. I loved our room with private porch with sea view. I honestly can say that this was a great experience .I wish we had stayed longer. Anna thank you so much for your hospitality, I really appreciate you accommodating us. Away from the busy port, but only a few min to walk. Everyone working was friendly and helpful. Some amenities like a fridge, kettle, cups, and utensils. In addition, they set up a play pen for our baby at no extra charge, and they loaned us a bottle opener and wine glassed to use during our stay. The room was cleaned every day. Great restaurant only a few steps away.The mattress was fairly firm, but it was still ok, and we found most matresses we've stayed on in Greece were firm. Glad we found this little gem. The location is perfect, very near to the port and some of the main beaches of the island. Also, it is located in a very quiet and secure area of the island. Is close to the supermarket and many nice restaurants. The room was big and with enough space! The bed was very comfy and the bathroom had all the amenities needed. The room has a tea kettle, etc. as well as a little fridge. They provide you with towel for the beach! I was last on the island in 1997 and although it is much more commercial now, it is still charming. There are no cars, you walk or take a small boat to get between the towns. Charming restaurants and rock beaches - there is good food and drink to be found at reasonable prices. We had a stop over in Hydra for a few days and enjoyed it. Recommend a harbour view, it is pricey, but so are other apartments. We did not venture from the Hydra town, nor did we go swimming; however, if you do, a longer stay would be beneficial.Guest review byAnneLuxembourg
