A fantastic place to stay. The owners can organise anything for you, laundry, car hire, bicycle hire, tickets, tours, bus timetables etc. The rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds, good sound insulation between rooms. The bathrooms are large, well ventilated, with soaps, hairdryer, multiple towels and toilet paper. The room has wardrobe with coat hangers and spare pillows, desk, chair, bar fridge, kettle, mugs, coffee, tea and sugar. The balcony is partially inclosed making it private to neighboring rooms, with outdoor table, chairs and washing line to dry swimwear, towels etc. The ground floor has a restaurant which is convenient for getting breakfast lunch dinner or bottles of water/ wine without having to go out and look for somewhere. The owners are very helpful and accommodating, I was sick for a week and they made me home made soups and pastas and brought them to my room! Good wifi, pet cats to pat, walk to beach, or drive 5 mins to local ruins and restaurants, bus stop outside to Rhodes township

Still a Wonder

Wonderful Rhodes has amazing beaches, nightlife and history. Its capital – Rhodes Town – once boasted the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Although sadly no trace of it exists in the harbour, its Old Town is still UNESCO World Heritage listed. This is because of the magnificent Palace of the Grand Master, a 14th-century castle once home to the Knights Hospitaller.

Just around the coast is Faliraki, the nightlife hotspot with clubs, bars and restaurants galore. Afantou and Kolymbia to the south have long, golden beaches, but the island’s crowning glory has to be Lindos. If you arrive by sea, you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve reached paradise.

Home to some of the best Rhodes hotels, Lindos is a picture-perfect town with whitewashed houses hugging the sides of a hill that is topped with remains of an acropolis. On the other side of the hill is St Paul’s Bay where the apostle’s boat reportedly ran aground.

Lardos and Kiotari further south have a good range of Rhodes hotels by the beach available on Booking.com, while on the other side of the island Kremasti and neighbouring Trianda (also known as Ialysos) have a good range of watersports and quick transfers from Rhodes Airport.

    The historic little streets were full of shops, cafes and restaurants, but you could still get a sense of what the town was like centuries ago. Definitely worth a visit, as was Lindos for which we hired a car for only £40 for the day. Everybody was friendly, they valued tourism more than anywhere else I have visited.

    I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years.

    I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years. The people are lovely and the place is a foodies delight. The beaches are lovely and safe for children, as no tides. The glass bottom boat is a must to see some of the other bays close to Lindos and is a lovely chilled afternoon trip.

    Nice hotel overall, perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! Good location, right next to the beach! Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! Hotel is nicely designed, lot of areas to relax without being overly crowded by guests.

    We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. The beach also had a rocky seabed and unclear water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Overall, a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

    Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! Shame really, the rest of the place and the staff were really good. The on-site restaurants are amazing.

    Most of Pefki is great for tourists with some excellent bars and restaurants. The only bad thing about the whole area is the cost of renting sunbeds apart from outside Lees Beach Bar are ridiculous and I would not pay 30 euros each day for a moderate set of two sunbeds and a shade.

    We were in the Rodos Star Hotel which was up a steep hill...

    We were in the Rodos Star Hotel which was up a steep hill and not very close to anything or the Village which was ok but not much to offer. Cost 10.50 euros to get there and very difficult to get a cab back and too far to walk.
