No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj.
No sandy beaches are available in Dramalj. All beaches are rocky with some concreate structures enabling sunbathing. Definitely bring water shoes and joga mats if you wish to sunbath there. Evening activities are great in central Crikvenica right at the port entrance. Find some apartment that is really close to the water, otherwise the hill to climb back to your apartment is very steep. "Havišće beach" (13 minutes by walk) is suitable also for...
"Havišće beach" (13 minutes by walk) is suitable also for small children because of gradual bank. "Vodna beach" (5 minutes by walk) has steep bank with a concrete jetty and therefore is suitable only for people who are able to swim and prefer to swim directly from the shore without walking in shallow sea. On both beaches was warm water and there was only very few people, mostly local people and tourists from nearest apartments. On "Grabrova beach" (3 km by car) you can buy very tasty ice cream, but there was a lot of people and it has a cold water (because of cold springs).Guest review byMartinCzech Republic - 6.0

Crikvenica is the biggest beach resort town in the Kvarner region, with a choice of pebble, sandy or concrete beaches. There are a lot of facilities along the beaches - bars, restaurants, child amusement etc. There is also a problem - the city is overcrowded in the summer. A dense traffic, lack of space on the beaches, lack of parking spaces. This is the closest coastal city to Zagreb and many other cities in the northern Croatia, so there are obviously a lot of one day visitors.Guest review byBojanCroatia - 10.0
The towns of Selce and Crikvenica are very beautiful.
The towns of Selce and Crikvenica are very beautiful. There are many bars and restaurants. Even though we arrived near the end of the season, the town was still quite lively. The restaurants are very good. Almost all of them are pet friendly at least those that have terraces. We ate exclusively in restaurants and were always satisfied everywhere. We lived on grilled calamari, ćevapčići, pljeskavica, and meat burek throughout the whole vacation. Selce is a smaller town where everything is basically located on the promenade by the beach. There is not much in the other streets except for a few shops (but the promenade is loooong :D). Selce has an ice cream shop that won 1st place in the world, and I must say the ice cream is really excellent and they serve large portions (but that's common all over Croatia). For anyone who hasn't been to Selce or Crikvenica yet, I definitely recommend it.Guest review byLukas - 6.0

Nice apartment area, beaches are great. But there is just one little grocery shop nearby, for everything else you need to travel to Crikvenica. Also not many restaurants. There are local buses (City bus Crikevnica) going from Crikvenica to Jadranovo.Guest review byMarieCzech Republic - 4.0
I arrived in Jadranovo and stayed at the Apartment Lopac...
I arrived in Jadranovo and stayed at the Apartment Lopac which was excellent,thus i extended my time here. I had to Look for another Apartment because the one i staved in was booked. I found another lovely Apartment which was run by the Tourist Information Centar of Jadranovo. When we got to their Office they told us the Apartment we wanted Was double booked and they would take care of another one. Weve got a new Apartment but it was Not even close to the one we booked. After we entered the Apartment we saw the messy Situation and Decided to Look for another accomodation, which we then found. We informed the Tourist Information Center that we are Not happy with the Stay but we would pay for the first Night and a cleaning Fee. The Tourist Information Center was beyound rude and was gaslighting us and said we can cancel over Booking, which meant nö refund at all! No we are here in a disgusting Accomodation with no way out. BE AWARE OF THE JADRANOVO TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER THEY ARE SCAMMERS!Guest review byEvelinGermany - 10.0
City is beautiful with many sand beaches.
City is beautiful with many sand beaches. Its marked as "city for kids" so it has a lof of playgrounds for kids. Overall, everything is amazing. There is a place to walk whole afternoon and spend time on beach. You have everything that you need for vacation: sports, bars, food is amazing, sand beaches, parking spots, also boat trips etc. And yet, its not stack packed with people, so you can enjoy your time with kids there.Guest review byBranislavSerbia - 8.0
Selce is a small town.
Selce is a small town. Perfect if you enjoy a calmer vibe, like sitting in a café until midnight. If you prefer more buzz, Crikvenica is just a 30-minute seaside walk away, with lively nightlife all the time.Guest review byPatrikHungary
