The accommodation perfectly met our expectations. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, a balcony and AC. There was a shop and the beach right across the street. The shared bathroom was clean and I only had to wait for a few minutes once. I've read many reviews complaining about the staff. Based on my experience, the owner only knows a few words of English, but she is very friendly and helpful. I always got the information I needed, and we even had a nice chat by combining different languages. The only other staff member we met was the cleaning lady, who only speaks Croatian but always greets you with a smile or a few words. The breakfast was really nice. There were three types of cereal, apples, bread, toast, jams, Nutella, honey, processed cheese, biscuits, salty cheese, millet porridge, coffee, tea, milk, and water. After a while, the owner also brought chilled water, fruit juice, and scrambled eggs to each table. Unfortunately, we left too early because pancakes were being prepared in the kitchen :) Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily have stayed a few more days.

Mario and his family did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very well equipped, clean and big, the restaurant which is part of Vila Punta (his wife cooks) is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. The private beach is clean and calm. We had an amazing stay. The location of the vila is just excellent, it’s very quiet with no noise from the main street. The water was crystal clear. The hosts were also wonderful and did their best to accommodate our needs. They greeted us with juice and snack after a night on the road, which was really nice. The interior was also good, clean and spacious with everything you need. We loved the views from the terrace and the scent of the pine trees. There’s also a couple of fig trees so you can pick some on your way to the beach. There was even a junior (< 70 kg) paddle board you could use. We truly recommend staying here and we will be coming back.

    The apartment was very well located, about 150 -200 meters from the nearest beach, but many other beaches nearby. The supermarkets, the city centre and many restaurants, bistros are close. The owner is very nice and friendly, very helpful - when our car ran down, he helped us. If we come here again, we will choose this accommodation for sure!

    We spent 2 nights here. We had a warm welcome, the owners are so friendly. There is a free parking place next to the house. The sea is so close best choice with kid(s). The apartman is nice and clean, we had everything we needed. There are grocery stores and restaurants in 10-15 mins walk. We would love to go back!

    A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...

    It's a beautiful, cozy small village with nice views and beach. No crowd but there are groceries, market, bar and beach. Also you can visit the near national park for climbing or hiking where Winnetou was filmed. I can recommend it for 1-3 days.

    The surroundings are mesmerising.

    The surroundings are mesmerising. The connection of sea and mountains is something very calming. In the morning, you can go for a hike and climb, and then spend the rest of the day at the beach - which is not crowded even in the peak season.

    If you're looking to visit Paklenica National Park,...

    If you're looking to visit Paklenica National Park, Šibuljina is a great place to start off. There's quite a few camping spots (mainly for cars and busses, though), Appartments and Rooms for rent in the surrounding area - most of them right by the water! You'll find a few small supermarkets, bakeries and even souvenir booths along the way. The town itself doesn't have much to offer, but it's a beautiful and quiet (!) place to relax for a few days and maybe plan a tour to Paklenica (for hiking, climbing etc). You should definitely plan for some time there! It's easiest to get around by car - there aren't many footpaths aside from the paved and very busy main street leading to Paklenica and other places.

    You need a car, although there is a bus stop very close to the apartment. Starigrad is just a few minutes away - nice restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, swimming etc. There is a good supermarket there and good facilities for cooking in the apartment if you want to eat at home - otherwise you'd need a car to go out to eat - no problem as it's a short drive. Beautiful coastline. Very nice place to stay if you want some peace and quiet.

    Starigrad Paklenica is an interesting blend between sea and mountain, a place like no other.. You can enjoy what the sea has to offer you, boat trips, snorkeling, etc, and furthermore, having a nice hike in the mountains, maybe climbing up the walls in the National Park, where you can find the climb experts waiting to teach you how to safely walk up the walls... You can really find here good food, nice people and beautiful places like Vecka Kula Beach, Riviera Paklenica, Velebit National Park, Cernovac Caves and the rest of them, I invite you to discover yourself traveller..

    Great base for trips around Dalmatia.

    Great base for trips around Dalmatia. Nature parks are at your fingertips. Without the car, I would be bored in Seline. The beach is low end. If you like to drive, the beautiful beaches and the city of Zadar are within an hour's drive. Paklenica Park is right next to Seline and the others are also about an hour away by car.

    Our stay was beyond our expectations, the room was super clean and sea view was awesome! Breakfast was good and especially value for money overall was the best. I really recommend this place if you are staying for a few days. Also I would like to thank a host for his hospitality.

    Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next...

    Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next to a late night dance club. Wanted a quite stay in a quiet place next to the sea but was rudely kept up late into the night. When I want a party Vacation I may come back to Starigrad Paklenica, but unfortunately this trip was for peace and quiet so I would avoid Starigrad Paklenica for those who want a Peaceful and Elegant Croatian trip down the Jadranska Magistrala.
