SlovakiaI liked everything about the apartment, the locality, and the staff. I came with small dogs for a dog show and there was a square with grass nearby, so I had no trouble walking them as often as I wanted. The staff also spoke English, so I had no trouble communicating.

We had an amazing time at Pilvax Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by incredible care and attention from the staff. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and our room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated.
Particularly noteworthy:
Cleanliness and Comfort: The room was impeccably clean, the bed linen was fresh, and the bed was very comfortable.
Amenities: The room had everything we needed – air conditioning, a mini-bar, a safe, and fast Wi-Fi.
Location: The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to major attractions and transport links.
Service: The staff were always ready to help and answer any questions.
Breakfast: The variety and quality of the breakfast food were impressive. There were fresh fruits, delicious pastries, and a variety of hot dishes.

The apartment is really small, but everything is clear from the start, so no nasty surprises in this matter. However, it contains everything you could need during a short stay - a comfy bed, small fridge, kitchenette, table, some furniture to put your belongings in, and a bathroom. The lighting is very good. All the apartments in the guesthouse (or most of them) are situated around a cosy patio, full of plants, with a little pond. The owners - it's a family business - speak many languages between them. We had the pleasure of meeting the son who, apart from being a really nice, friendly and helpful young guy, spoke great English. There is some parking space in the square opposite the building and the apartment is within walking distance of the city centre.

This place is heaven! The atmosphere is calming and absolutely fantastic, everything was beautiful.. The room was clean, smelled of freshly washed linen, cozy, comfortable and big enough for 3 people. The food was delicious, the staff was so polite and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights, but to be fair, we didn't want to leave. We'll definitely go back again and I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

All was great. Location is super close to city center so you can have a nice walk to the city center. Next to the location is a pizza shop so you will never be hungry. The rooms are always very nice, big & clean and there is a kitchen corner. Great price quality report. We stayed there multiple times and it was always a nice experience. Recommand!

Breakfast was fine. Location, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and under a half hour walk to the football stadium, Paksi FC, the reason for my visit.
Chap at reception wa very helpful with info on how to get to the stadium, and info about the 'village', as he called it.

The city center is very pretty, full of flowers in the parks and nice cafes all around. We really liked the market with all the local produce. There are really nice little shops on Rakoczi Street. Many restaurants offer a 2 course menu at lunch time for really great price. The Benko Zoltan Park is a great place to go walking, running or to have a pic-nick The big hill in the middle has a great view from the top. The city has a very nice atmosphere and perfect choice for a long weekend away.

Directly off the M5 motorway towards Budapest. Has free parking and 24 hour services. Safe as it has CCTV. Excellent restaurant and bar. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. We had our dog with us and she was facilitated too We all slept well as the room was sound proofed.Definitely great value for money . The biggest plus and what made our return visit is the lovely friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. We'll be back.

A quiet town full of greenery and flowers. Clean and tidy streets. Worth seeing are the pepper museum, the cybernetic tower CHRONOS 8 and the archbishop's library with priceless old atlases, globes and books.

Lovely small city, conveniently located 4 km away from the highway. Nice restaurants and terraces in the center.
What I want to mention is that people in the city are extremely kind. I left my bag by mistake at the terrace where we had dinner. I was desperate when I realized that my bag was missing because all my documents were inside. The waiter found it and kept it for me. Next morning, some very kind people at the bakery next to the terrace helped me to reach the owner of the terrace. The owner of the place came very early in the morning to open the place so I can get my bag back and continue my trip.
We didn't spoke the same language but they understood that I needed help and they did everything they could and more!

Cute little town, kind and helpful people. There were many programs when we stayed in the city, circus, garden cinema etc. There is a fantastic little restaurant called Tanya Csarda that we really recommend to anyone.

I would really recommend visiting Varga Tanya near...
I would really recommend visiting Varga Tanya near Kerekegyháza. We had an amazing time there, the staff was really helpful and kind to us. It has wellness facilities as well, including a jacuzzi and a sauna, and much more. They serve delicious food there for both breakfast and dinner, which includes traditional hungarian dishes as well. The great plain in the neighbourhood is perfect for a long walk. It is very close to nature and has a quiet, calm atmosphere where you can get away from the noise of the city and enjoy some relaxed quiet time.

We stopped here on our way back from Greece. We were only in the center, which we were excited about! The central squares are connected. There is a beautiful Art Nouveau town hall, an Art Nouveau palace and several churches of different denominations. But what surprised us the most was the amount of greenery and fountains, which was very refreshing in the summer heat.

We visited a couple of museums.
We visited a couple of museums. They were quite cheap but interesting. The first a folk museum had a fascinating collection of rocks and gemstones and information about the history of Hungary with traditional lace costumes and painted pottery.
The paprika museum was interesting and had information in Hungarian,English and German ( and possibly French)on the types of pepper and how the crop is harvested and prepared to make different strengths of paprika. There was also information on local vineyards and types of wine.
The town centre is being repaved at the moment but lots of interesting historical monuments and statues to see.
Locals very helpful directing us to a local cafe with ice cream. Lovely Italian restaurant il Primo.

A very pretty small town with interesting architecture. We were there because a relative was in the local (very good) hospital, but the stay was very pleasant, the people friendly and the food good and varied. We got free travel to and from the hospital because of our age!
