The villas were run by great German guy called Chris who was really nice and helpful. They upgraded us to a double villa as we had a bad experience with the flights over there. It really made up for it! The bungalows were well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding ( changed every day ). The air conditioning worked well plus the fan. We adored the bathrooms “inside outside “. basically no roof so you felt very much in nature. We loved looking at the stars at night when spending a penny. The Villas were Cleaned every day by very nice friendly efficient staff . Our breakfast was brought to us each morning and nothing was too much trouble. It was tasty and there was a variety of options . The pool was a delight and the gardens surprisingly big and well kept. We loved the privacy and often stayed at the villa most of the day . we be if there best places we have ever stayed. Should be rated 5 star not 4. The spa was really handy too. The staff were very friendly and arranged a smooth transfer from the airport. We chose a garden room on the first floor. I think it was the right choice. The location is also only a few minutes' walk to the main area of Gili, where we can have dinner at the hotel if we want chill night, and if we want to have a night out, there are many pubs to enjoy a short walk away. Vila Mango consists of two bedrooms, a living room with a mini kitchen and a private pool. It's an excellent option for families. The accommodation was very clean and organized. We forgot an iPad in the room and only remembered when we were on our way back to Bali from Gili. The hotel staff were able to return it to us in Bali promptly. The hotel staff are to be congratulated for their warmth and friendliness. I recommend the Mala Garden hotel. Staying in Gili T for 2 days was the best decision of our Bali trip! The whole vibe of the island is so cozy and calm. There are no cars, you can bicycle around the island or get a scooter. The beaches are beautiful and sunsets on the west side are breathtaking. The perfect island for feeling the peaceful island vibes of gilli and a great spot for fresh fish grill food on the beaches and many more great diverse restaurants which will not disappoint!! There are also plenty of amazing warungs to eat local food. The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. Gili T is a beautiful island and has the perfect mix of quiet, party and places to visit. We stayed for 4 days and explored as much as we could using bicycles. At the north, is Turtle point, where you can snorkle and swim with turtles - I would highly recommend. The you can visit sunset point, which is beautiful. There is a "party" area of the island too, I would recommend to those in their 20's. There are no motorised vehicles on the island. You can travel via electric scooter, bicycle or horse.
