Lovely staff, beautiful garden, stylish interior, nice pools and outside area. Good food, scooter rental, early check in! This stay was perfect for our surfing holiday to Medewi. The best surf spot is easily reachable with scooter, and the traffic is not to heavy.

We loved our stay at the Bombora. As non surfers we only stayed two days, but a really great place to spend time and relax. It's in a great spot and it was wonderful to arrive and see the infinity pool with the waves beyond . The hotel facilities were first class (although we only stayed in a double room ) : the beds were incredibly comfortable with super deep mattresses! And such a nice touch to have such deliciously scented toiletries in the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant daily and the food was delicious: great breakfasts and fresh juices : and such a great view from the ocean from the open dining room. Loved the iced coffees too; and the attention to detail and exceptional service: chilled glasses of water were delivered to our little table at the pool. The staff and manager were polite, friendly and engaging : we loved our stay; thanks for having us and we very much hope to come back!

Spacious room, new AC, curtains block the sunlight very well, clean, no bad odour. The owner is an absolutely amazing lady, she loves to take best care of her guests, happy to help with whatever you needs are. We even got a complimentary welcome drink, a big bottle of drinking water, fruit and completely unexpected breakfast to the room! We enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended it.

Well it was cheap. I paid $14 on booking.com, then the caretaker made me pay $20 in cash to him as he said I couldn't pay on booking.com he didn't speak English. But there was no where else to stay.

A very quaint hotel but the room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed a few conversations with them. Mr.Ketut was very nice and helped arrange transport to Denpasar.

We place great value on well-maintained hotels – and Puri Dajuma definitely gets a 10/10 from us. Every corner of the garden is spotless, with fresh flower arrangements placed daily to decorate the grounds. The pools are absolutely clean and well-kept. Even though the hotel was quite full, we always found our own peaceful spot to relax. We loved the beachfront location – the beach is perfect for long walks or a morning run. The food was excellent; you can really tell it’s freshly prepared with care. We also appreciated being able to rent a scooter directly from the hotel to explore the beautiful surroundings, including nearby Medewi Beach. The staff was very friendly and never intrusive. For us, it was the perfect place to unwind, and we would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed the silence at night very much, which allowed me to have a good night sleep in the comfy bed. But apart from that, this hotel didn’t fulfill my expectations. There was no drinking water, and at the reception they didn’t sell any. Because the entrance path was under water, I walked along the road at night with lots of trucks passing very closely to buy some water. So better come with enough drinking water. The shower didn’t work properly, the shampoo dispenser was empty, the bum shower had low pressure so I used my own tissues. This hotel hasn’t been maintained, but I was thankful that I could spend the night there as my ferry from Java arrived when night was falling. For a single night I definitely recommend that place instead of traveling further at night.

The accommodation is clean and cozy, and I was lucky to get a room right in front of the pool. The people here are incredibly lovely and kind, making the whole experience even more special. I will absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for progressive surf sessions in a small, peaceful village with long, smooth waves. Suitable for all levels, and hands down the best surf coaching in town – you’ll get full support both in the water and through video analysis to refine your technique by professional surfers. Huge thanks to Muklis, his team, and his family for making me feel so at home. Can’t wait to return!

A really quiet corner of Bali.

A really quiet corner of Bali. You rarely see many tourists in the area. Everyone greets you as you walk along the roads or beach. If you want night clubs and European restaurants this isn't the place for you. If you want traditional Bali then get up their quick before it becomes commercialised.

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed...

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ?

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf. Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat. Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge. Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.
