- From US$148.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 759 reviewsStayed only for one night but had a pleasant stay and would stay again no doubts. We bothered the receptionist for an extension lead and got it in 5 minutes delivered by herself. Also had dinner and were served by Josephine who was taking good care of all the dinning room that evening. Saw her pouring drinks, getting orders and coming with the plates - still not making people wait on anything or forgeting anybody, amazing asset to any hotel team. I saw a wedding set up being prepared for the day after and she even went out of her way to show it to me as I was curious. Lovely lady & a beautiful function room. Will go back, no doubts.Guest review byIreneSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 152 reviewsThe woodlands is one of my favourite hotels. It caters for absolutely everyone. I loved the fire pits on the driveway in, it added a touch of class to the entrance. The petting farm is fabulous for the kids. The hotel itself is so warm and cosy with stunning decorations. Our room was amazing, so spacious and designed beautifully. The staff couldn’t do enough. Our meal was delicious. We absolutely loved the outdoor area, cabins with the stoves, Pizza , burger, coffee and icecream huts and finally the sports bar. Everything amazing.Guest review byTinaIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 158 reviewsQuiet location where kids ran from playground to playground. Cozy accommodations with a fire and comfortable beds. Kitchen had the basic needs. With limited restaurants close by, we cooked at night. Small market 5 minutes away. Property was large, 3 BR and 3 bath. Electricity came to 25euro for 3 nights family of 4. Husband rented a mountain bike from up the road and spent the day on the trails.Guest review byTracieUnited States

There is no car park at the hotel but there is one across the road and is on discounted rate for the hotel guests. Located in the heart of the city, things are walking distance from here. Only if we get free upgrade for our honeymoon it will be great lol ;). Otherwise it is perfect, will defo come back.Guest review byErvinaUnited Kingdom

We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely.
We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely. The food was great. The city centre is compact and easy to get around. The Treaty City Brewery was a high spot as were the Museum of Limerick (really helpful staff) and the People's museum (shared their enthusiasms with us). We enjoyed the street art very much.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

New Castle West is not very interesting...
New Castle West is not very interesting... We spent one night on our way to the Cliffs of Moher and in retrospect I wish we had driven further. The hotel is kinda old, the bathroom felt like an hospital bathroom. No mini bar or fridge in the room. Very spacious room with spare furniture - they had the room to add a cabinet with fridge... Breakfast was good tho.Guest review byPhilippeUnited States - 8.0

Host was very kind, welcoming, had a lovely country feel all round, other than the bathroom which was modern, bed was very comfortable for my husband and I, breakfast was lovely you do have a choice of full Irish breakfast, or vegan, village is about 15 min walk down the road, but the walk is lovely with the view,Guest review byletteUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run). There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches. its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.Guest review byPatsyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very friendly people who gave us lots of information about walking and even dropped us carless women at the start of the walk in Ballyhoura and collected us without charging us anything. All the archeological sites and beautiful churches were a unexpected bonus.Guest review byToppenNetherlands - 8.0

Clancy's pub and restaurant provided good range on menu for breakfast, lunch and supper. The pub contains display of owner's nephew's international referee neck ties in recognition of refereeing multiple international rugby matches including the first Rugby World Cup. Also rare framed signed copy by participants of the North of Ireland Good Friday Peace Agreement. Proprietor's father, Jack, is a mine of information about people and Bruff including the old RIC Barracks which had a cellar, now filled in but then had a tunnel to escape through if needed. The village itself is small but with picturesque surroundings and near to Lough Gur the important Archaeological site stretching back over 6,000 years with well presented Visitor CentreGuest review byNicholasIreland - 8.0
It was quiet. No restaurant was a drawback.
It was quiet. No restaurant was a drawback. We went into Tarbert on recommendation of proprietor but The Swanky in Tarbert was nothing to write home about. The Knight's Walk nearby was worth doing.Guest review byMichaelIreland - 8.0

We stayed at Greenhills Hotel on the Ennis Road—great location with a bus stop just down the road that takes you straight into the city centre. Before dinner, we stopped by The White House for a few drinks. The Guinness was excellent, but I’d give the white wine a miss—not the best selection. The pub has a lovely traditional Irish vibe with some modern touches, making it a really pleasant spot. Dinner was at Freddy’s Restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. We wrapped up the evening at The Copper Room, a stylish underground wine bar with an impressive selection of wines, ports, and cheese boards. I’ll definitely be heading back there next time I’m in Limerick! Best part? All of these spots were just a stone’s throw from each other, making it super easy to enjoy a full evening out without needing to travel far.Guest review byHelenIreland - 10.0

Tourists can't enter Adare Manor unless they stay overnights or dine at two different restaurants. We booked breakfasts and then walked around to enjoy the beautiful scenery and atmosphere inside. It was a fantastic morning in Adare.Guest review byShu Jyun HsuUnited Kingdom
