It's quite an old dated hotel but is classic with probably one the best elevated views of magnificent sea of Galilee! The hotel it self is huge with an upper or lower section. From what I gather almost all rooms have views. It is abit of a walk back to the lobby or amenities if you are in the lower section, however its part of the experience when staying in a giant hotel. The staff were extremely helpful & catering, even allowing me to move rooms, to one the higher rooms in the elevated section of the hotel, to obtain an even better view as I initially booked a deluxe room which happen to be in the lower sections of the hotel, quite far from the lobby. Buffet breakfast was in the magnificent dinning area that over looks the sea of Galilee. Really thankful & enjoyed the breakfast each morning. They have a great gym, spa section. An great out door swimming pool. Open air viewing decks. Loved my stay here. The only negative was the location is not right on the water like most of the other hotels down near the promenade wharf. However that is also a plus being it's quieter at night generally. For what you get in Israel it's great value & very enjoyable. This is a happening place, with a large variety of restaurants, sightseeing and activities. Best to stay at a nice seafront hotel. Do not skimp on good accommodations. We were there for business, so our choice of hotel was not optimal. Next time, I'll stay at a tourist luxury hotel, even if I am not there as a tourist. The Moshav is situated in an excellent and scenic location above the Sea of Galilee. Perfect location for touring the Upper Galilee panhandle and the Golan Heights. There are two convenience stores, a small food-truck cafe, and two excellent restaurants in the Moshav. Many friendly home-owners have B&B cabins. For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area.
For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area. You can do climbs to the Golan Heights, visit the Druze villages in the area, etc. You can also circle the Sea of Galilee for a flatter experience, spend time in Tiberias, etc. Many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. A fascinating blend of cultures. This ancient city has incredible architecture going back centuries, beaches, amazing markets along with a huge number of things to see and do. It is expensive - we could not afford the top end restaurants and most of the exhibits charge entry. Drive out of the city for even more.... The best part of the hotel is the staff. they were all amazing, friendly, patient and courteous. ALL OF THEM. It is really well located - a quiet and pastoral spot, yet close to nearby towns and attractions. The only heads up I would give is that it is a kid friendly place. if you are traveling with your partner and want something totally quiet - I wouldn't recommend going during school holidays. Rosh Pina by itself isn't a big town, but it's special location, due to it being rather different than other urban areas in Israel. The view is great, and you can feel Israel's history in the decorations when walking up towards the hilltop.
