Rooms are exception, every room is different with different theme. We expressed our choices but all rooms were already taken. We got a lovely room with small balcony. Room was very big and bathroom was huge (size of a regular room in other hotels. Owners still lives in the hotel on the first floor. Staff was very friendly there is only no real restaurant but on first floor some arrangement is made for tables for breakfast. Great staff

I like the whole concept of living in a fortress during a weekend. Indeed, some modern comforts are missing, such as an elevator or a TV. However, this does not interfere with the overall feeling of staying at a magical place. My colleague and I really dived into a world five hundred years ago with some modern comforts, such as the swimming pools and the fitness room. We also appreciated the activities offered by the hotel, like the afternoon tea or the tea hours. All meals were absolutely delicious. It should also be noted that considerable effort has been made to maintain the hotel in good condition.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and everything was exceptional. An environmentally conscious hotel (no plastic used, food served to room in tiffin box) friendly staff, great location and great food. There were several activities for keeping the kids engaged. The ganga aarti at the property every evening was a bonus. I will happily recommend this hotel to others.

I would avoid the Salt and Rove Hotel (aka Hotel Elevate by Corporate Suite) - there are hundreds of alternative clean, presentable and welcoming hotels in Delhi! I will be coming back to Delhi to spend more time exploring; my most favorite place this time was the Lotus Temple. Absolutely amazing!! !50% recommend a visit - especially if you are of a spiritual, meditative nature. Beautiful!! Very easy to get around Delhi - just grab a taxi (but ask the cost first before you depart on your journey). I loved Delhi and will be going back!

Varanasi is a different experience as its vibrant and spiritual being one of the oldest cities in the world. The people the traffic jams the food the sadhus the ghats the aarti and more and not the least Kashi Viswanath Temple and The sacred Ganges river gives you goose bumps. But the crowd can be controlled inside the temple complex as it becomes a mess by the people from all over India being so very unruly and impatient for the glimpse of the lord by way of breaking the que, pushing other devotees and fighting with fellow devotees thereby the very essense of peace and tranquility is lost. If the devotees can follow strict routine set by the police and the temple authorities than the sanchity of the lord can be maintained with evry devotee getting a more peaceful and serene time with the lord for a longer time.

Udaipur appeared a bit more organized and clean than a few other cities we visited. The City Palace and other monuments which were under the administration of the the Royal Family seems to be well maintained despite their age. The city area, lakes and surrounds were easily accessible and beautiful for tourist visits. The Taj Lake Hotel, being an Island on its own was magical to visit for dinner after an evening cruise around the lake. Make one feel like James Bond.

I went to Rishikesh with an open mind to witness the might of the Ganges River, see the temples and join my wife in the participation of the Aarti Ceremony. There are the local habits, roving animals and crazy traffic that may annoy a lot of visitors. But I chose to rise above those and focus on the rituals, temples, monuments, daily activities, Ashrams (retreats) and the view of the Rishikesh valley. The flow of the Ganges and the 3 cable bridges (Ram Jhulla, Lachman Julla, and Janki Jhulla), and the chanting with the ceremonies in the evenings were mesmerizing, humbling and a joy to the soul. I felt blessed to be there.

The city has a few spots that are visit worthy, but rest of it is just a huge village with very poorly designed infrastructure. The roads just flood with tiniest of rain spells and most of the locations would have you fear for your safety during night.

Agra is a lovely city steeped in legendary history. There are so many incredible places and monuments to explore, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World—the majestic Taj Mahal. I highly recommend that everyone visit the Taj Mahal at least once in their lifetime. It’s an unforgettable experience that truly lives up to its global reputation.

Plenty of sightseeing places. Open top bus tours available. The Golden Temple is a must see along with the Partition Museum. Bazaar shopping & plenty of places to eat in Amritsar. It is very busy around the Temple but has been pedestrianised which makes it easier to get around. Plan half a day for the museum to fully take in the exhibition Jalianwala Bagh was very special to visit with a beautiful memorial garden and historical facts to explain why it was created

A city for pilgrimages. Why not! Lord Krishna is there, the great teacher. The local authority should maintain the city's cleanliness and prevent unpleasant odors. People are pretty good and friendly.

Good tourist place.

Good tourist place. Jaisalmer fort is a populated town itself with people staying in dwellings within the fort - so it may appear congested specially when moving about the narrow lanes within the fort. Those who like shopping, there is ample opportunity within the fort premises. Yet, my guide advised me to do shopping from markets near Patwon Ki haveli. Mandir Palace is a jewel , don't try to MISS it. The most beautiful building in yellow stone, I must say. The Museum (quite small) is worth a visit @Rs.120 pe head for Vilas Mahal . The palace is partly a luxury hotel, partly residence and partly open to tourists. Sam Sand dunes : It was quite fun to have a camel ride there. The area covering the dune safari was not big as such, but you get a feel of the desert nevertheless. Evening programme of folk song and dance at desert camp was kind of fun.But it lasted more than what one can enjoy.Shorter duration is better. Dinner : don't expect good quality there on your plate.Items we got were quite bland and sterile. People are quite friendly and cooperative I found. Ghotua : If you like sweets, from near the fort, buy Ghotua (Jaisalmer special) from the most well known sweet shop of "Dhanraj". Though not comparable with famous Bengali sweets, I liked Ghotua.
