This heritage property holds a great history as it used to be the house of Nawabs. We were immediately transported back in time and could really feel the spirit of Lucknow. The room was nice, clean and the bed was really soft and comfortable. But what made our experience truly unique was the hotel staff; everyone was smiling, friendly, polite and very helpful. At the reception, both Abdulla and Gulafsha made sure we had a smooth check in and check out, they replied to all our queries and even gave us some recommendations about the city. Last but not least, the food and the Azrak restaurant staff. We booked last minute a table for New Years. The live music was great and we were gifted with New Year Eve accessories. Thumbs up for the whole organization. The buffet was delicious and we had the pleasure to meet the Chef Manish who took time for us. His hospitality and care were very much appreciated, the food was outstanding, excellent, and we can not thank him enough for his time and kindness. At the service, special thanks to Arman and Pramod who took very good care of us during the whole evening at the next day during breakfast. To sum up our experience, this property and its amazing restaurants really is a hidden gem in Lucknow, and shines especially thanks to its wonderful staff and history. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and I was delighted by the complimentary coffee. The room was absolutely stunning—spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. I had everything I needed, from plush bedding to luxurious toiletries. The view from the window was breathtaking, and it really added to the overall experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. First I was unhappy with the noise of music at hotel premises, I wanted to fire everything, then I met Mr Rohit , he apologized and made me understand the actual situation. Just for my comfort, he slow down the music and it's bass. What truly sets this hotel apart is the level of Hospitality By Mr Rohit, it seems he supposed to be with top brand, excellent gesture he has. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, always with a smile and ready to assist with any request. Even faced my anger with a smile. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, it offers everything you could ask for in a hotel stay. The second time was a last minute booking, because originally I was supposed to go to another hotel in Lucknow (Hotel Casa). When I arrive it was extremely dirty (ex. fresh blood stains and hair in my bed, etc). So I decided to leave and go again to Piccadilly in the middle of the night. The hotel was very clean (EUR standards). The staff was extremely friendly and super helpful. They were trying their very best to make our stay superb. For example, we arrive late for breakfast and they allowed us to take it anyways! It was also the day with the worst air quality in the last 30 years in Lucknow, even with an FFP2 we were getting throat pain and red eyes. Inside the hotel the air was very good and I could breath normal, which probably means they have clean AC filters. Very congested place.
Very congested place. Transportation not availble upto the temple. U need to walk upto the temple. Temple is ok, nothing great compared to South Indian temples or even the Ram Mandir. The Ganga aarti from the boat was good. The area is bustling with touts, agents trying pull a fast one. Visited Sarayu river with no time for boating, visited hanuman mandir and then went on and visited Ram Jenma bhoomi. Beautiful temple. Wish i get another chance to visit once the full construction is complete. All of us have to put efforts to keep the temple clean and not damage any place with scribblings as is the usual practice else where.
