Service at the hotel was great. The town itself had very few English speaking tourists, most seemed to be Italians from the mainland. You get a great sense of the local culture. Food and drink was very reasonably priced and very fresh. People were all lovely. Supermarket across the road from hotel had all we needed. The food at the hotel was good and there's another restaurant right on the coast only a few minutes walk from the hotel. There's a night market right outside the hotel door on Tuesdays and Thursdays that's worth a visit and the beach bar had a fireworks display and a DJ late into the night on the Saturday we stayed.

Great location for the beaches we wanted to go to, the hotel in general is amazing value for money! The best part were the hosts though, they were so nice and accommodated our requests (they lent us a beach umbrella, they let us shower after going to the beach and before going to the airport, because their other guests were arriving later, they prepared an early breakfast for us when we had to leave very early one morning)… such incredible service!

Nice hotel, awesome view (we got part sea part castle). Just a jump across the street and you are on a beach. And a 10 minute walk into the hill and you are in city centre. The location cannot be better! Rooms are comfy, they also offer parking space.

The location couldn't have been better as it served as an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful nearby beaches. The convenience of having a pool and a wonderful restaurant nearby added to the overall charm of the place. What truly set this accommodation apart was the exceptional service provided by the manager. His friendliness and responsiveness made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable by providing us with fantastic recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and other activities in the area. The fact that the beach was just a short 10-minute walk away was an absolute bonus, and we loved that there was a playground for the children to enjoy as well. Having a shop and a gas pump nearby made our stay even more convenient and stress-free. In conclusion, this accommodation surpassed our expectations in every way possible. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a great location for exploring the nearby beaches. It has a wonderful local atmosphere with very friendly people, a great café serving excellent croissants, and there’s always something going on. During our 9-day stay, we enjoyed three different local events.

    Costa paradiso is very beautiful area.

    Costa paradiso is very beautiful area. It' s really worth to visit this place. I absolutely loved it. There is very nice beach Li Cossi or La Sorgennte. There are few nice restaurants in Costa Paradiso resort but you can still travel few km outside the resort and find home made pasta to take away or buy wine at local people. I recommend that too.

    Isola Rossa is a charming town with nice restaurants and a lovely small beach. Since it's a bit isolated, making it difficult to reach the other side of the island for exploration, I would recommend staying a few nights before moving on.

    Rena majori beach is a great beach.

    Rena majori beach is a great beach. Some days calm water, some a bit wind with nice waves. Rena majore is a nice small city centre with restaurants and bars as well as general store with all essentials. Nice walk down to beach with easy access, beach restaurants with bar. Short drive to nearby beaches and to Santa Teresa and Capo Testa

    The town is turist place with no history or any other sights. During the high season there must be a lot of people. No WIFI. Poor kitchen equipment. Nice trips around (Castelsardo), nice beaches around - long sand beaches.

    Castelsardo itself is an interesting small city with its castle and round streets. Hikers and people doing "steps" should love hundreds of steers and narrow uphill streets, especially in the rather well preserved tower area. And, it hides so good seafood restaurants with spectacular views. I thought I had it all already, yet we were seriously surprised of the food and service quality. Sure, tripadvisor points tell the story. Yet in some cities you could find pizza kiosks also with ratings like 4.8, so watch out. Trekking and hiking roads are also near by. Beware of review dates. Some are full of bushes, still not cleaned, so it took us 3 tryouts to find a decent track. Most of these tracks are unmarked. Would be hard to find these if you have experienced German way of marking tracks.

    We had a wonderful holiday.

    We had a wonderful holiday. It was a pleasure to stay at Il Borgo di Badesi. It's worth knowing that washing up liquid, soap, bin bags etc are not provided, but JM supermarket is 3 minutes walk away, so it's not a problem. The supermarket is well-stocked and cheap, a bit like Lidl or Aldi. Badesi beach was quite windy, but Badesi is in easy reach of Santa Teresa Gallura and Castelsardo. We also had an amazing trip to one of the Costa Smeralda beaches. And of course the resort has 3 lovely pools. The price of the week was excellent, and we had one of our best ever holidays!
