Beautiful city. Loads to see. Very crowded. Obtaining entrance tickets, and queueing for the main galleries is not easy. Do not try to see everything in a few days - you'll fail!! But - wonderful place. Will return.Guest review bydawnUnited Kingdom - 10

Take advantage of the buses and get more modern than I and get local bus apps on phone. We just happened to find that they have a festival the last Suday of September every year and it was very enjoyable.Guest review byrodneyUnited States - 10
Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way.
Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I wish we were here in the warmer months to make use of that beautiful pool with the to-die-for view!!!Guest review byAlisonUnited States - 6.0

The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)Guest review byElenaUnited States - 6.0

San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!Guest review byLaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10

Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.Guest review byHenrikeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Scandicci itself is a safe and quiet neighborhood, although it doesn’t offer many tourist activities. For nightlife, dining, and sightseeing, you’ll need to head into Florence, which is easy to reach by tram.Guest review byAlvaradoCosta Rica - 10
This place was incredible.
This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.Guest review byGEORGEUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Florence is a renaissance city and the streets/sidewalks can be quite challenging. The views and interesting places are worth it, though. The hotel is in the older part of Florence and close to the major attractions. I ate twice at the restaurant next door and enjoyed good wine and antipasto. The Ferragamo Museum was fascinating. I recommend it for fashion and shoe lovers.Guest review bySaraUnited States
