We loved the staff who were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was great, and our room was very spacious and clean with a nice balcony. The navetta and the spiaggia privata was wonderful especially for enjoying a day at the beach with a baby, the resturant on the beach was exceptional, and the fact that the hotel is a 3 min walk from the lungomare was the cherry on top of an amazing stay! Thank you so much to Martina, Lelo, Matteo, Anna, and the rest of the wonderful staff! We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back! Crystal, Matteo, and baby Sole :)

The hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.

The location is amazing, and the vibe it conveys is an exception compared to the surrounding area. We were welcomed with a graceful and helpful attention at a very late check-in time, exceeding our expectations. The communication is easy, and the warm hospitality of Andrea, Alessandro, Fabio, Tessa, and all the staff is very appreciated. The pool is neat, sunny, and perfectly maintained daily, and the beach is just one of the many within walking distance, or a couple of minutes by car. Well recommended, on my fav list.

Absolutely wonderful, the staff is the best, very supportive, professional, the staff do their best for you, we had a problem getting to the hotel because of a problem with our car reservation and the staff did absolutely incredible job to help us get there and make us feel better for that even when it wasn’t their fault at all. Remarkable and recommended, music at night, amazing food, super nice room.

Probably one of the finest boutique hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, but what made it so great was the hotel itself. The attention to detail of the decor, the friendliness of the staff, the views….i could go on. I think a travel magazine should visit and do an article on the hotel. I could get lost looking at the ceramics, the art and the stunning flowers.

The walk from the Diana Home Rome FCO to the restaurants is only 5 min. The shop owners are amazingly friendly and helpful. The restaurants are famous for their fresh seafood, and of course everything Italian. It's safe and beautiful and a tremendously coveted place to be. Ask the host about setting up reservations, or day trip info, she is exceptionally accommodating beyond any other place we visited. I will forever promote this place. I call my "Happy place" It's a 5 star all the way around. clean environment, secure, helpful and caring people, and super great value. Smiles, and love surrounds this place. I wish I could move here...I could market it 100%

I have stayed here several times before cruises.

I have stayed here several times before cruises. In the "gothic" area within remains of old city wall are several modestly priced family owned restaurants. My favorite has become "Count Zeno" . The Catholic Church at end of street has a wonderful history of giving appropriate respect and prayerful burials of bodies found along beach and outside the walls. The interior is a jewel box with esquisite art work. Liturgy was well celebrated Sunday Masses were full with varied congregation and there are evening weekday Masses. The central Market is worth a visit and since you have a well stocked kitchen at your disposal, it's easy to prepare yourself meals. Many good bakeries in area. The restaurants along the waterfront are overpriced. Seafood is expensive and they cater to tourists. There are several well stocked and well priced wine shops where you can good excellent wines to enjoy

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.

Ostia Antica Archaeologica Zone was Rome's key port for over 500 years. It is far larger and more historically significant than Pompei but does not have the same level of preservation. Allow three hours to see it well. Take the Shuttle from the entrance to the far end and walk back with the Museum and Cafe as a place to recuperate half way.

Santa Marinella is close to Rome.

Santa Marinella is close to Rome. Trains are frequent and take less than one hour. It is very popular in the summer months for Italian visitors. You have a good selection of beaches, that mostly charge from €35 to €50 per day (08:45am-19:00) for two sun loungers and one umbrella. The beaches are very clean and well maintained. I speak Italian but some staff speak English. Bars and restaurants surround the beach so you have a good choice. Via Aurelia is closeby with plenty of shops and a very welcoming airconditioned supermarket, Conad. I revisited Santa Marinella having lived there many years ago. Some things have changed but overall, a lovely place to visit with or without family. I would highly recommend. It is recommended to book months in advance as tourists return every year. Places I recommend you stay are Maison Suite in via Aurelia or Hotel Cavalluccio Marino overlooking the beautiful sea. I have not supplied any photos as all photos available on line show Santa Marinella exactly how it is. Vi consigliate di visitare Santa Marinella nel futuro....

We enjoyed the beaches and the laid back atmosphere of the town. We went to Rome a couple of days, but just being in a smaller town and walking on the beach was lovely! We ate gelato and pastries from Helamani which was delicious!! We had seafood pasta at El Chucharrito which was good. We also enjoyed Torre Flavia Ruderi, the tower on the beach. There were people kite surfing there and you could see the mountains in the distance. The train is convenient and walkable to most places in Ladispoli we wanted to go.

The town is a classic Italian hill town with a rich history, a wonderful museum of its Etruscan heritage, and some excellent restaurants and night life. But the old city is characterized by narrow streets and few, if any places to park a rental car. Almost all parking is at remote pay by the hour lots scattered around the lower parts of the old city close to the city walls. We eventually found a largish hotel (Hotel Tarconte) just above the city wall on the ocean side of the town not far from the Hospital with free parking on the street in both front and opposite the hotel. The hotel is family owned and operated and the owner was friendly and generous and made a dinner reservation for us the second night of our stay at a seaside restaurant which was excellent in terms of service, food and value. We enjoyed walking about the old city both during the day and after nightfall, the Etruscan museum was a delight, and the people--especially the young people, were friendly and helpful. The location, just an hour north of the FCO airport, is a good get away destination for new arrivals who don't want to go into Rome and deal with city congestion after a long airline flight.
