The apartment we rented was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage, air conditioning, and lots of hot water — honestly, it couldn’t have been better. We were absolutely charmed by the private terrace offering breathtaking views of Ponza’s legendary sunsets, as well as the shared terrace with its refreshing plunge pool and relaxing lounge chairs. Casavictoria is a very safe, secure, clean, and quiet spot in Ponza. There are a few nice pizzerias and restaurants nearby, two grocery stores, a bar with delicious coffee, and it’s close to the bus stop and the natural pools. Alfredo and his team are truly dedicated to creating a place where guests feel at home. We especially appreciated his attention and thoughtful recommendations for local tours and boat excursions. We had a wonderful week filled with sunsets and aperitivi, sunbathing on Casavictoria's terraces and enjoying the beauty of the nearby surroundings. The nearest beach, La Caletta can be reached via walk (quite some stairs, for people who are not that mobile). The handling with very kind and welcoming owners / managers of the property was amazing and very smooth. The apartment had everything one would need and was perfectly clean. Beyond gorgeous.
Beyond gorgeous. It’s a dream vacation spot and easily travelled by electric bike to all the beaches. Mostly Italian tourists which made it seem much more chilled out than other beach spots in Italy. Highly recommendGuest review byKristinaUnited States - 10.0

Hidden gem easy to reach from Rome. You could do a day trip but so much nicer to stay the night and enjoy the evening vibe once the day trippers have left and sip Campari spritz as the sun goes down. Small island with a lot of secret history.
Small island with a lot of secret history. We visited the Roman cisterns and the botanical Garden as well as taking a boat trip out to neighboring island--uninhabited-- of Zannone. Attractive little shops in Porto the main town and very good restaurants, as this place caters to Italians--very few foreign visitors.
