- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 177 reviewsAfter confirming the reservation, we received a detailed e-mail from the accommodation. These information were delicate services that no hotel had The accommodation has a terrace with a burst ocean view, so we can see Panarea and Stromboli. Our room is very clean as a suit room, and furniture and bedding are arranged making the most of the space. As soon as we arrived, the owner was served a self baked cake and coffee, and we received meticulous service. With her help, we were able to use a rental car to visit the nearby Pollara. We were also able to enjoy a wealth of breakfast, including homemade bread and fresh juice. I want to rate it as the best accommodation for this trip. Once again, we would like to thank Giuliana, the owner of the accommodation.Guest review bySang-wonSouth Korea
- From US$109.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 220 reviewsAmazing stay at this thoughtfully appointed property just minutes from the port. Loved the position, with generous views of Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli AND Etna. Loved all the staff’s attention and friendliness and numerous suggestions and hints for restos and activities. Loved my sundown Negroni at the eagle’s nest bar, and homemade breakfast there. Loved the communal sun terrace and the private outdoor and indoor space, comfortable bed, lovely linens. Everything super clean. Great wifi. Good quality/price balance.Guest review byDaleSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsWe wished we stayed here 7 nights instead of 3. Everything about this hotel was incredible. A delicious breakfast, excellent aperitivo, stunning views from the pool, and so many nice, quiet places to rest and relax throughout the property. Salina and Hotel Ravesi were the absolute highlight of our honeymoon in Sicily. We would definitely recommend renting an e-bike from this hotel to explore the island. Staff went above and beyond.Guest review byAnnCanada

While we walked a bit around the town, and bought some lovely souvenirs from a local shop, we did not have enough time to see the beach, take a hike, or use the local bus to see other parts of the island. I felt I could have easily stayed for several days, if the weather conditions had been better. It is a very green island that beckons to be explored!Guest review byMaggieUnited States - 10.0

Charming and laidback- a great place to relax and chill. Enjoyed impromptu wine tasting at Fenech, and appreciated being shown around the island in an Ape calessino ( 3 wheeled motorbike) ecotour - highly recommended!Guest review byMaryAustralia - 8.0
Rinella in June was very quiet with not many restaurants to...
Rinella in June was very quiet with not many restaurants to choose from. There was one clothes shop, one grocery shop and one tabbachi. If you don’t have a car, ferry, taxi or Citi bus is the only way to get about - or hiking of course. The bus I think is cheapest but we didn’t use it because we were mostly island hopping. 10 minute ride on ferry to Santa Marina Salina seemed expensive for the trip but I think it gets more expensive at certain popular times of the day. This is a quieter, more remote place to do the hopping (with the extra 10 min journey always tagged on the end from Santa Marina) so if you want a little bit more buzz choose one of the other islands or Santa Marina. Personally, we liked the vibe on Vulcano and loved Stromboli. (Stromboli is probably not the best base for island hopping though as it is the furthest one away). Lipari is big and bustling and didn’t feel like island-life but if you like that sort of thing, it’s a great base. On the whole we enjoyed our choice of base at Rinella. It was a good ‘getaway from it all’ place, where we were forced to do extremely little- when not venturing.Guest review byLorraineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
My review of Lingua has nothing to do with the Hotel Borgo...
My review of Lingua has nothing to do with the Hotel Borgo di Mare where we stayed. It is strictly limited to the sea front part of the village where restaurant and various shops are located. Although we came in the second part of June, the summer vacation season had barely started with most of the restaurant not yet fully ready, offering partial services, like no pizza even if already on the menu. We had to manage our expectations on a case-by-case basis. But altogether we found the offering at the time very basic (range of choices), poorly executed and pricy (meaning high season prices)Guest review byFrancoisPortugal - 10.0

Great little village with lots of delicious restaurants ad shops and galleries. Lots of fruit trees and a really cute beach (Spiaggia dello Scario). The village has a small supermarket, and has very good access to the rest of the island via the bus system, or by hiring a car or scooter at the various hire companies in the village.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Salina is one of the most beautiful Aeolian Islands.
Salina is one of the most beautiful Aeolian Islands. It is well reputed for Malvasia wine and capers. The scenery is fantastic and the island offers good possibilities for a nice holiday. There are good walking opportunities, a reliable bus service, great cafes and restaurants and some nice shops.Guest review byBirgit SchunkeGermany - 10.0
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month!
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month! It was a quiet, peaceful town, with a small main street with a handful of shops, and maybe three restaurants, and more of a takeout cafe. We had excellent, leisurely meals at two of the restaurants, and really enjoyed the staff at both. We walked down to the beach one day, and loved it, but it was otherwise a lazy few days in a spectacularly beautiful place with very pleasant people. Malfa is a treasure!Guest review byShelbyUnited States - 10.0

It’s simply wonderful - just the right balance of leisure, shops, restaurants, not too overcrowded (early September) so strolling around is very pleasant. Lots of trips and activities, friendly people. This is my second visit and I would highly recommend itGuest review byGailItaly
