- From US$342.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 282 reviewsThe staff were excellent throughout, so attentive to detail and ready to answer questions. They made it a point to recognize me on my birthday during the stay and we were offered an upgraded room at check-in. There was also a huge variety of activities (guided hikes, welcome happy hour, e-bike tours, lunch BBQ, yoga classes, etc.) throughout the week available to guests which offered a nice option if every day wasn't already planned out. Finally, the breadth and quality of the amenities (sun lounging options, pool [indoor + outdoor], sauna, and spa) were all top-notch and very well maintained.Guest review byDavidUnited States

Our biggest compliments go to the restaurant staff – they truly make this hotel exceptional and unforgettable. Every dinner felt like a new tasting experience – unique and delicious dishes that changed daily. It allowed us to enjoy real luxury. Room cleanliness was also 10/10. Highly recommended for those looking for peace, comfort, spotless cleanliness, excellent service, and of course, outstanding cuisine.Guest review byIevaDenmark

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.Guest review byJanisLatvia - 8.0

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian foodGuest review byGulzarIndia - 10.0
Colfosco is great for the views.
Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.Guest review byWriterGuyColombia - 10.0

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.Guest review byLindaAustralia - 6.0

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.Guest review byMr M to you.Malaysia - 10.0
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet. The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico. Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far.
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.Guest review byAlenaCzech Republic - 6.0

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.Guest review byJasminaSerbia - 10.0

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.Guest review byWiktorPoland - 10.0
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.Guest review byDavidUnited States
