I love this hotel. We stayed here for my birthday and honeymoon and is the best hotel I have every stayed in, anywhere else in the world it would be a 5star+ hotel. The staff can not do enough for you, I have never experienced customer service like it, anything you want to do while staying with them they will organise restaurant, taxi, activities etc. You dont have to lift a finger. The food was amazing all day from breakfast to evening meal. We cancelled a restaurant reservation because we just wanted to eat at the hotel again food was that good. We took advantage of the activities they offer doing the cooking class with Mario and hiring the ebikes exploring the national park the hotel is located in. I would thoroughly reccomend both, we enjoyed them so much. I couldn't reccomend this hotel enough from all the personal little touches they did to make my birthday and honeymoon truly unforgettable.

The cleanliness is excellent, and I’m very particular about that. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The restaurant menu is delicious—I tried most of the dishes during my stay. Chef Ahmed is world-class, and his dishes are outstanding. Finally, the hotel is located inside the castle, and the security is top-notch. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.

We stayed for four days. The walk to San Gimignano is about 30 minutes on a quite gravel road with great views over the village. The pool is perfect. Big, deep, clean & cool and enough beds & umbrella's around. Never too busy, mostly just good. You can order small dishes and drinks. The room was good, we had a comfortable bed (no split in the middle :)), decent bathroom and a large patio. The main road can be heard but is far enough so doesn't really disturbs. Most rooms are on the ground floor. The restaurant is great, just reserve in advance! Talking about the restaurant, the breakfast is exceptional! Lot of choices, good coffee and a fresh orange squeezer. Staff is great. Thank you Sovestro!

Mormoraia is technically an agriturismo, but in every way it matches — and even exceeds — the standard of a 4-star hotel. Set in the breathtaking Tuscan hills near San Gimignano, the atmosphere is romantic. From the moment you arrive, you're met with warm, attentive service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The dinners are good — each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor, offering a true taste of the region. Breakfasts are just as impressive, with a wide and varied selection that caters to every preference, and of course, excellent coffee to start the day right. This place is a gem for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Tuscany in style and comfort. Highly recommended for couples, food lovers, and anyone in need of a peaceful, luxurious getaway.

Heaven on Earth. A place where time could stand still. Breathtaking nature, and such lovely, kind, and helpful staff and owners. The food was incredibly delicious! The breakfast selection was unbelievably large and unbelievably good. Dining at the restaurant in the evening is an absolute must – a flavor experience you won't forget. We had booked a suite (a separate cottage with a large private terrace), and it was 100% worth the money! Every little detail has been thought of at Podere Bellavista – truly every single one! We already want to go back… and we plan to do that someday defently!

Fattoria San Donato was exactly what I pictured an idyllic Italian "cottage" would be. The room was beautiful, rustic and cozy, the breakfast delicious. San Gimignano is a medieval town which is very popular with Italian tourists as well as other EU/US visitors. It's like stepping back in time as everywhere is so original and dripping with age. There are plenty of shops selling quality foods, ceramics, fabrics, art, bakeries and even a potter who will make a pot in front of your eyes - in fact everything you can think of! Plenty of nice restaurants from simple pizzerias to Michelin starred will cater for every taste and budget. There are a number of old towers you can climb which will give you a wonderful birds eye view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, but if you don't want to climb then a leisurely stroll around the ancient streets is a cultural treat.

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

Montesportoli was a great location in central Tuscany and has a good road network to reach the popular tourist destinations. There was a large Co-op in the town and plenty of good restaurants in the area. It is a quiet town and is not full of tourists. The views in the area are stunning. If you are looking for a relaxing break and want to do some touring around this is an ideal location.
