- From US$395.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 156 reviewsRelais & Chateaux IL Falconiere was an exceptional property and worthy of 5 stars. It was the perfect oasis right outside of Cortona to enjoy both the Tuscany and Umbria hilltowns. We stayed a total of three nights having dinner at the one star michilien restaurant two nights and the ambiance, service and quality of dining were exceptional. It was really enjoyable to spend the day driving in the nearby Tuscan and Umbrian villages and then enjoy a late afternoon couple of hours in our own tuscan countryside with pool and fine dining experience. Breakfasts in the original greenhouse were also outstanding with ambiance and local abundance!Guest review byLindaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 741 reviewsThe property is very beautiful, everything is in charming tuscan style. The villa has beautiful dining room with the stunning view. Breakfast was rich and very tasteful. The highlight of the property was the personnel. My husband had an accident when we stayed at the property and everybody was very helpful and careful. They called a doctor and arranged a taxi for us. We highly recommend Villa Schiatti!Guest review byspelaSlovenia

The Grand hotel in Chianciano Terme' this is the hotel' we booked by international standards this should be a 1 star hotel with a warning do not book this hotel. The hotel is very outdated filled with a foul smell. The rooms & bathrooms lacks basic renovations and mould is every where in the bathroom. The breakfast is very poor offering basic and cheap shop bought cereals mostly reheated frozen pastries, the coffee machine broke down. The hotel charged us for rooms with no restraint, the hotel should have closed down a long time ago, it is no longer fit for purpose. I advise people not to go to the hotel do not waste your money & precious memories, we came back with insect bites all over our bodies. The photos of the hotel does not reflect the reality.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cortona is a great location for day tripping all that Tuscany( Montepulciano, Assisi, Arezzo, Pienza, Sienna) has to offer. Parking can be a challenge, but the town itself is delight with many terrific resturants(La Bucaccia & Antica Trattoria) that cater to vistors. I could spend a month living in Cortona.Guest review byRossUnited States - 8.0
Town of Chiusi consist of two parts.
Town of Chiusi consist of two parts. Stick to the historical side on the hill for best town experience, good restaurants and Tuscan feeling. Use the newer part of the town only for your grocery, petrol and laundry needs.Guest review byPawełNorway - 8.0
Sarteano is a small, picturesque hilltop town.
Sarteano is a small, picturesque hilltop town. It has a range of shops, bars and restaurants, a castle and a lot of typical winding streets. A good base from which to explore the local sights. While we were there we visited Siena, Monteriggione, Pienza and Montecchiello, Montepulciano and, one of the highlights, Bagni di San Filippo, where you can bathe in warm sulphurous waters.Guest review byJuliaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Peace and calm. Wonderful weather and views. Great food. Warm welcome and cheerful hosts. A place to relax, un-wind and 'just enjoy a peaceful life'. A beautiful Tuscany village, like out of a postcard.
A beautiful Tuscany village, like out of a postcard. Narrow winding streets, a really neat town square- the Piazza Garibaldi- had breakfast there every morning at the Bar Langola. Neat restaurants and shops. Great location, only @40 km from Florence, 200 km to Rome. Easy access to anywhere in Tuscany and the Chiani Valley. I could retire here. FYI, no public transportation, best to rent a car. The streets are beautiful but challenging, drive carefully.Guest review byJohnSaudi Arabia - 10.0
Just my wife and I, trying to get some feel for Tuscany.
Just my wife and I, trying to get some feel for Tuscany. We were on a ridge, overlooking a valley of wine fields and olive tree orchards, and looking up at Montepulciano. View couldn't have been more perfect. Ate dinner in town 2 nights at restaurant recommended by host - really practical and delicious.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
The town is nice.
The town is nice. It is a quiet time of the year, but the merchants we encountered were friendly. The Terme Theia was ok, but the management inflexible when I tried to inform them of a booking error within 24hours of making it they did not reply to my emails, and when I spoke to the they said that once I paid there was no refund or changes. I prefer the Terme sensoriale, but unfortunately they are only open on weekendsGuest review byKathleenItaly - 10.0

Amazing medieval city with beautiful architecture and a great atmosphere. We were there on the main holiday weekend of the year and it was very crowded. There was a food festival in the park, a photographic exhibition in various sites around the city and a band playing in the Teatro Piazza in the evening. The many churches are beautiful and there are restaurants to suit everybody - from gourmet to burgers. Never a dull moment for two days. Unfortunately it is not suitable for people with mobility problems because of the steep hills and cobbled streets.Guest review byRoyGreece
