- From US$147.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,940 reviewsAmazing property that will give you a real Tuscany vibe. Great staff both in a hotel and a restaurant that will make you feel very welcomed and taken care of.Rooms have character and beautiful views from the terrace. The place is great to stay the whole day: you have sub beds, pool, pool bar you can eat lunch in, tennis court ect. There is also parking on the spot for free. Breakfast was huge and delicious, with fresh fruit you could squeeze a juice, selection of ham and local cheese, smoked salmon and prosecco. We fully recommend you to visit La Bianca restaurant for a dinner that has evening charm on the pool and great food.Hotel is also pet friendly, so many guests were with their dogs, which was very nice to have aroundGuest review byChurros07Poland
- From US$459.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 542 reviewsWe spent 5 days in Albergo Posta Marcucci. It was fantastic time especially because of very kind and helpful staff. Starting from check-in until check-out we fill like in between good friends. The rooms are comfortable, and everything was as it should be. The pools are really very warm, and we feel relaxing in the bath and at the couches. The restaurant has excellent food as well at the breakfast and the dinner. I strongly recommend this Hotel not only to spend a time at the pool but also to make a short trips across Tuscany countryside, visiting nice towns nearby. Many thanks to the Hotel Manager for his help in time organisation.Guest review byKristofPoland
- From US$109.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 601 reviewsI'm rating it 10 not because it's perfect, but because it was fit for our purpose. We had half pension and enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. Yes, the rooms are old, but ours had everything we needed and everything worked. There's no parking at the hotel (and that we already knew when booking), but we used the public parking (walking distance from the hotel) that was suggested at 7 euros for 24 hours.Guest review byEmiliaItaly

Much busier than I had anticipated; wish we would have had more time to get off the beaten path and see more of the quieter spots. Did a wine tasting at La Lostra which we highly recommend! Taxis are very difficult to get so prepare in advance and hire a private driver if possible.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We visited all the touristic atractions, especially museums and palaces. A lot of the were with free entrance. We found very, very good restaurants, even for the best evaluated ones it is needed to reserve.Guest review byDoru1234Romania - 10
We spent 6 nights there.
We spent 6 nights there. We are big walkers and walked everyday. Did the bike ride to Pisi one day. That was great. Consider fewer days if you are not interested in walking so much. If you have a car, you can easily get to other locations for day trips. The train station is an 8 min walk from lodging and you can also do day trips from Lucca this way. Lots of shopping and sightseeing available in Lucca. Check Lucca city calendar as they do have large sponsored events like the Comic and Games festival in early Nov (150,000+ people attend) and a month long music festival in July. It would be over run with too many folks to enjoy the peacefullness of Lucca! Plus books out a year in advance for these festivals.Guest review byCristinaUnited States - 10

San Gimignano is a medieval town which is very popular with Italian tourists as well as other EU/US visitors. It's like stepping back in time as everywhere is so original and dripping with age. There are plenty of shops selling quality foods, ceramics, fabrics, art, bakeries and even a potter who will make a pot in front of your eyes - in fact everything you can think of! Plenty of nice restaurants from simple pizzerias to Michelin starred will cater for every taste and budget. There are a number of old towers you can climb which will give you a wonderful birds eye view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, but if you don't want to climb then a leisurely stroll around the ancient streets is a cultural treat.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10

Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 10
