Petra Premium is centrally located and a 2 minute walk to restaurants, mini marts, souvenir shops, etc. and 15 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive to the Petra archeological park. Our room was spacious and incredibly clean with a little balcony and view of the hills. Bathroom is compact but has a great shower that was ideal after hiking in and out of Petra. Breakfast has plenty of options for vegetarians (delicious moutabal, yoghurt), a good selection for vegans, and serves eggs and cold meats too. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make guests welcome. Everyone in the tourist industry in Wadi Musa is going through difficult times due to the massive reduction and tourists the region, so supporting this local business the hotel is I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Peter and Jordan

Exceptional, very clean, hotel staff were very helpful, especially ahmad and osama, they were very caring for my wife and I from the first moment we arrived and became even more caring and accommodating when we told them she is pregnant, gave us great advice about visiting Petra given her situation . location was perfect. Infinity Lodge was magical. Everything from the best location with views of Petra to being close to the main sites. A family run accommodation with an authentic Jordanian feel. Say yes to the dinner, absolutely fabulous, what a way to unwind after a big day. The room was comfortable, all the staff so welcoming & friendly, fairly priced, only downside is we wished we would’ve stayed longer.

The staff is also at a high level, everyone takes care of you and gives you the necessary information you need to visit Petra, but simply professionals from the managers to the cleaning service. I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Petra Moon that exceeded all my expectations: from the breathtaking location to the top-notch facilities, everything was simply perfect! However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the extraordinary service provided by the hotel staff, particularly Raja and Osama at the front desk, Hosaifa, and the entire team. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism. Raja at the front desk not only efficiently handled the check-in process but also took the time to explain all the amenities and services available at the hotel. The attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable were truly commendable. They were always willing to answer my questions and provide helpful recommendations on places to visit in the city. Their passion for their work and genuine interest in guest satisfaction made a significant difference in my experience. Hosaifa, on the other hand, was always attentive. His friendly attitude and professionalism were exceptional. He was constantly attentive to my needs and asking if I needed anything. However, I cannot fail to mention the rest of the hotel staff, who also played a crucial role in making my stay an unforgettable experience. From the friendly bellboys who were always ready to assist with luggage to the housekeeping staff who kept my room impeccably clean, every team member displayed an exceptional level of professionalism and courtesy. In addition to the outstanding service, the hotel facilities were simply stunning. The rooms were elegant, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could desire. The locals are fantastically helpful.

The locals are fantastically helpful. The Petra complex is really well organised and there is a huge amount to see. Do take the free horse ride at the entrance which takes you to the entrance of the main gorge. If you can locate Ayham and Nasir, they can take you on longer horseback excursions though this mythical landscape. I had not been on a horse for forty years and they took excellent care of me on an unforgettable two-hour trip around the uplands away from the tourists. They were unbelievably considerate of a nervous rider and I got to see things you can't reach on foot. There is also a wonderful museum included in the price of your ticket which was empty wehn I visited

Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

Petra is indeed very impressive. Start out very early. If you take two or three days you could walk the less-trodden paths and see more nature. I you want to buy souvenirs you have to bargain hard!

we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

Our day in Wadi Musa was truly unforgettable — exploring Petra from sunrise to sunset felt like stepping into another world. The walk through the Siq, that first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury, the climb up countless steps to viewpoints… every bit of it was worth the aching legs. By evening, the city glowed with desert colors and we wrapped up the night with sore feet, full hearts, and endless photos.

The reserve is beautiful.

The reserve is beautiful. We spent 3 days hiking and hardly saw any other people. Amazing colors and sweeping vistas. Definitely go with a knowledgeable guide to get the best experience. Stay at the Jabal Dana Hotel for great views and amazing food.

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers! Locals were very pushy. At first they are overly friendly, but this quickly turns to rude and aggressive if you don't tip, they will lie about directions and then insist they be your guide. Even if you say no they ask for Tip. You just need to be aware of your surroundings and try not to let the scammers bother you.

Pay attention to the weather conditions depending on the time of year. We had to abandon the hike due to heavy rain 3 days before (end of February/beginning of March). Our host recommended doing this hike after March 15 and ideally in May.

Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
