I spent most of time visiting other parts of Kyushu ie Saga Prefecture, Kumomoto Prefecture and Kagoshima, Munakata and Oshima Island. For my next trip will spend more time in Fukuoka. I took a bus tour to have a view of the city. The first half was interesting, going over the famous bridge and seeing the waterfront. But the second half was boring. The staff were amazing and the setting of the place was very beautiful. Fukuoka is definitely a gem for travellers - from city area to country sides. Locals are friendly and the attractions I visited were wholesome and eye opening. The food especially ramen was good. Transportation-wise, it is fairly easy to navigate around Fukuoka, we have the bus / train / JRs / even walking.
