- From $152.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,009 reviewsI like the Japanese breakfast that they offered. Not much variety daily but good enough for the stomach to go on for the day. But i like the apple tea bag they they offered, very refreshing and tasty. Room wise sufficiently spacious; as I took the Deluxe twin; so no complain to those slightly smaller room size. Location - one thing has to point out. There is Hakata exit and there is Chikushi exit. The hotel is nearer to the Chikushi exit; so just get the orientation right. And surrounding the Chikushi are many eating places. Location is safe as well; although at the ground floor of the hotel there is a Pachinko parlour which can be slightly noisy coming back to hotel. But once you entered the hotel lobby on the 3rd floor; all is quiet and well.Guest review byLeeSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 3,296 reviewsLocation and staff were impeccable. For example, when the front desk called for a taxi, one of the concierges in the lobby escorted us to the taxi, and made sure the driver knew where we were going. The rooftop pool and spa were most welcome after a long day of travel.Guest review byCharlesUnited States

I spent most of time visiting other parts of Kyushu ie Saga Prefecture, Kumomoto Prefecture and Kagoshima, Munakata and Oshima Island. For my next trip will spend more time in Fukuoka. I took a bus tour to have a view of the city. The first half was interesting, going over the famous bridge and seeing the waterfront. But the second half was boring. Just looking at traffic.Guest review byMargaret Ai Ling - 10

Our goal was to explore the northern part of Kyushu and Shimonoseki. It was really fun to see the clear difference from Kanto or Kansai area and as we arrived after the mid autumn festival time, most cities were extremely comfortable getting around.Guest review byHae inSouth Korea - 10

Itoshima is a quiet beachside community. If you like getting off the beaten track you may like this. We visited Shiraito Falls - loved the waterfalls, nature and campfire on a cooler day; and Natty Dread - a quirky, creative restaurant serving up the best burgers and overlooking the bay.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 8.0

Yanagawa is famous for its Unagi i e grilled eels with a sweet soya sauce. It also has a beautiful canal and you can take a trip down the canal on a boat . It feels like the Venice of Japan. It is a small township and you can walk around the canal to the little shops and eateries. It is far from the bustling cities of Japan and has its own charm.Guest review byVivienneNew Zealand - 10

Fukuoka is definitely a gem for travellers - from city area to country sides. Locals are friendly and the attractions I visited were wholesome and eye opening. The food especially ramen was good. Transportation-wise, it is fairly easy to navigate around Fukuoka, we have the bus / train / JRs / even walking. It is recommended to adjust your pace for your travelling schedule to avoid being burnout - You will walk a lot during your trip.Guest review byJunyong - 10
