- From US$152.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,631 reviewsAnother The Share hotel to love! We also stayed in the one in Hiroshima and this one has the same concept. Perfect location, very friendly staff, lovely redecorated old building, great design, lovely rooms and very good beds, bathroom and facilities. We are a family of 4 with 2 young adult kids and we stayed in a spacious room with 2 normal beds and 2 bunkbeds above them. We also had a couch and good closet space, plenty of room for our luggage. We also really loved Kanazawa!Guest review byYvetteNetherlands
- From US$144.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 151 reviewsThis place was a big surprise almost at the end of our trip: you enter the lobby and some (paper) cherry blossoms fall down ... The very nice room had a view towards the river. The lobby has many features from sweets, to rice cakes, plenty of choices for a yukata (yes, big sizes, too!) and soft ice at night. The private baths are nice and need a prebooking upon arrival for the afternoon and evening. Should have stayed more than one night ...Guest review bySvenGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 27 reviewsSometimes you come across a gem. This is one, and such a pleasant surprise in every regard. Our room was a very luxurious, Japanese style bedroom on 7th floor overlooking the gorge. The dinner was truly wonderful and they managed to provide gluten free soy sauce (coeliac), despite not claiming to provide for individual allergies.Guest review byWilliamIreland

Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit.
Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit. It has a similar charm as Kyoto, but with fewer crowds. We found it easy to get around the city by bus or on foot. We had 2 days here but could have stayed for 4 days or more.Guest review byElaineAustralia - 10.0

People there are very helpful and courteous. It is very clean, and uncongested. Quiet and peaceful, unlike the other cities. I highkt recommend pairing Toyama and Tetayama, i.e. 3 and 2 nights respectively . Simply amazing.Guest review byWangSingapore - 10.0

It's a lot quieter than Tokyo or Osaka in comparison, but because of this felt very peaceful and I had a wonderful time exploring the town. The dinosaurs were very cute! Unfortunately I didn't manage to stay long enough for my liking, but definitely look forward to returning in the future.Guest review byNatalieSingapore - 10.0

We picked Tsuruga because it was only 2.5 hours drive from Chubu International Airport. It was perfect as a base to explore the areas around. Tsuruga is a seaside town so there were plenty of seafood if you are a sashimi and sushi fan.Guest review byNoraHong Kong - 10.0

The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to detail, very relaxing and with a staff dedicated to providing the best service. They were attentive and helpful. The forest near the onsen was beautiful for hiking and contemplating nature. Loved it. I will definitely return and to the same onsen.Guest review bymouyiarisUnited States - 10.0

The hotel was fantastic, evening and more than my team expected! We loved the traditional clothing and meals, especially dinner. The breakfast for most Americans is a little rough. The hot springs were EPIC and the swimming was just right. Thank youGuest review byCoryGMAIL - 8.0

It was a wonderful experience for me since this is my first time to snow mountain , the view at Tateyama Kogen Hotel was really stunning . When i checked in it was very foggy and the next morning i just couldn't believe my eyes the ALPS peak is just in front of my room window . It was so close to me . It's really beautiful with the sunrise . Since i went there early 1st May , i can only see the snow wall corridor and the beauty of Kurobe dam . The view is really pretty. oh if you are planning to drive to Ogizawa , don't worry there are plenty of car park but make sure you arrive early . We park our car at Shinano Omachi and took a bus there as afraid can't find parking due to Golden week holiday , I could have drive up there !Guest review bySweeMalaysia - 4.0

The room cleaning not complete and the door left AJAR the whole day when we were away. See the pic attached. We have confirmed with staffs that condition of all rooms are dated and do not match those on the hotel website. The photos on the website shows the rooms are new and updated.Guest review byFeliceCanada - 8.0
I don’t know if I needed to have stayed here.
I don’t know if I needed to have stayed here. Or maybe it would have been better to come during a special time of year (firefly season or some festival). The castle area was also under construction. It was still cute, but we preferred Kyōto and Tokyo and I would maybe prefer a different small town instead! However, it was charming.Guest review byAnonymousGermany - 6.0

I booked 2 twin rooms for my stay on 27-29 Nov. 1 twin room for 2 persons. hence 2 twin rooms for 4 persons. however, when i checked in, i was told that i booked a twin room for 1 person and needed to top up for extra guest. When i told the staff that i paid for 2 twin rooms for 4 persons, I was asked to provide proof. I'm surprised that the hotel does not have record that i booked 2 twin rooms for 4 persons as the hotel sent me email to confirm that i booked 2 twin rooms for 4 persons. when i finally found the email as proof and showed the hotel staff, the staff then asked me if i booked for adults or children. I was really shocked and frustrated that after providing proof that i booked for 4 persons, then i have to provide proof that i booked for adults and not children. When i said that when booking the rooms, i clicked the twin room for 2 persons which did not indicate adults or children. The staff then asked me to wait and walked away. I waited for quite some time and the staff didn't get back to me. So i went to the front desk and asked the staff what's happening. then she said everything is ok now. This is really bad service. i didn't note the name of the 2 staff who attended to me.Guest review byireneSingapore
